"Adults shouldn't act like kids." Kazie rolled his eyes at his dad as he stuck his tounge out at him.
"And how goes taking care and watching your father?" Lazuli wasn't as daft as to believe that Kies was taking care and watching Kazoo; the little girl was mature for her age, and after seeing who here father was it wasn't hard to see why.

Kies tilted his head and looked past Kazie and spotted a flower,"Mine!" he tackled the ground, pulling Kazie with him.
"I don't watch him all the time," Kazoo looked to the ground,"He seems to do well on his own in his room, he has lots of toys and if I get bored I'll play with him," Kazoo laughed,"It's really fun."
Kies plucked the flower and slunk over to the girls. He popped up next to Lazuli and kissed her cheek while giving her the flower,"pretty kitty pretty kitty!" he ran off.
Kazoo giggled.

Kazie grumped as he tumbled to the ground; and was left there to glare at his father's retreating form, was he retarded or something?
Lazuli wasn't sure what to expect with Kies anymore; she twirled the flower in her fingers and smiled. "I guess its a good thing that he can entertain himself, I don't think anyone could keep up."

Kazoo laughed,"Maybe if he had a clone."
Kies ran around and climbed back on the jungle gym,"I can fly!"

"I believe that would be the only way anyone would keep up with him." Lazuli laughed as she continued to twirl the flower in her fingers.
"You can't fly." Kazie protested sticking his tongue out at his father.

"Can too," Kies argued with his son. He jumped as far as he could,"See?"
Kazoo looked at the flower,"He's sweet in his own way."

"That was just jumping, not flying." Kazie retorted giving his father a strange look.
"He is, in his special way." Lazuli agreed with a faint smile.

"You can fly too!"Kies picked up Kazie,"Fly far my little one!"
Kazoo's eyes widened at the first fly,"No dad! No flying!"

Kazie about squawked when he was picked up and he attempted to bite his father when he tried to fling him.

Kies hadn't even gotten ready to throw Kazie when he bit him. "HEY! NO BITE!" he said sternly and set Kazie in a corner. Kies ran over to Lazuli again, eyes watering,"my finger hurts," he said as he held it up.
Kazoo sighed as her father put her brother down, there was always someone there to catch her when it was flying time and she doubted her mother would be able to catch Kazie without falling over.

Kazie glared at his father and then at Kazoo just because he felt spiteful.
Lazuli almost giggled but put on a soft smile and took his hand into hers. "Aw, do you want a kiss to make it better?" She asked as Kazie shot a glare to her too.

Lazuli kissed his finger where Kazie had bit him and smiled. "All better?" She asked softly as if talking to a child because sometime she felt like he was a child.
Kazie returned the gesture grumpy.

"Yay!" Kies jumped up and gave Lazuli a kiss on the cheek and ran off again.
"What's his problem?" Kazoo asked motioning to Kazie.

"Because Kazie is a little monster, that is his problem." Lazuli sighed as Kazie scurried off towards the pond; of course she had her share of being a mean creature but it had always been playful.
