Power.
Looks.
Dominique has it all. She’s beaten them all. Using her demon eye to manipulate people's senses and make it seem like she can teleport, she beat everyone, and nearly none stood in her way.
Until her defeat. Vash the Stampede put an end to her usefulness to her master and she knew better than to return to him, defeated. It wasn’t long after her demise that she found herself here, in the Pride Lands. But something was off; Her master, Vash and others had also come here, so she hid. A recluse who saw no point in ever coming out of her hiding place.
Until today.
What brings her out? Does she go back to find Knives and ask for his forgiveness, wishing to form a new team? Or…does she go and seek out a new purpose in life?Lion name: Dominique the Cyclops
Entry: I can't go back... I can't see him... I... I failed... so ungracefully...
The darkness surrounded her... it had been so long now the drips of falling water only adding to the madness. Darning not to move she stayed, prayed on the occasional rodent, the vile leftover that happened to come along and somehow she'd survived. Holding this disgusting life style without a twitch, it was the instinct... the instinct that over powered all... to live, to survive! The thoughts swirled round and round there was nothing that made sense, no right move, no way to leave without it happening again and where would she end up this time? Would she appear some place else, would they all be there to? She had to risk it she had to get out of this, it was ridiculous to hide, he hadn't found her yet... perhaps he'd known all this time and waited, watched, have others watch yes... that was his style the master rarely did anything for himself, not when she knew him. But still... She'd given up her humanity for the power, the elegance, the damm right upper hand and in the end all she got was a painful death... and not even by her foe's hand!
So disgraceful... how dare he! Why didn't he kill me... what was his name? I remember now... Vash....
The orders were simple, Dominique had accepted without a blink of an eye... A chuckle escaped her maw, the irony, as she reached up the touch of fur took her by surprise, what had happened... Sighing she stood and shook her head. All she ever had done after she was gifted with power was take orders and do his bidding she'd not minded but now, thinking back, why? Because she was obliged to thats why! To the wrong side it felt, now she'd time to think, oh so much time. All they asked was to bring out death and destruction, their orders, all of the orders of the sick family that named their selfs the Gung ho Gung and he.. that blond idiot! Had he just killed her then non of this would be so confusing, Damm him. Was he the good side, the...
Dominique stuttered slightly as she gasped, her eyes widened though her pupils hadn't seen sunlight for what felt like years, was that stupid doofus on the right side?
This is ridiculous!
The yell was deafening, she'd had enough, of her crazed thoughts, the undignified life style and most of all, herself as company. Jumping up to her feet she ran forward, she could see a speck of light now, where was she going? She had no clue, anywhere was better than here, she wanted answered and she was damm sure she would find those she needed. Valiantly she charged, kept running until she reached the sunlight, there was no reason to go back to her former master, not yet anyhow, she'd look about, learn the lands, she owed nothing to him now. Besides... if you were to see someone like that.. like.. Knives, wouldn't you want to have an upper hand this time, know what your getting in for?
Well Dominique sure did!
A basic idea, thats all she needed, this time her thoughts and actions would be her own, the gift she'd so hastly taken from him, from them all had a price, the price of serving them till the death and as far as she could see it, she'd died, and this is where she'd landed. A new start, but not quite the new agenda. This was her time, her time to shine in the spot light, another chuckle played on her maw, how amusing she still felt of her fellow team as friends... family. But she had to know, now she was free, what exactly was the right team to fight for and more specifically... what was the best team?
