"Alriiight!" Raven congratulated him and sat down next to him and gave him a high-five, she felt that one was in order for some reason.
Raven's stomach then let out a gigantic growl and she blushed.
"Oh...sorry, I've been down here all day. Do you want to come upstairs with me and we could maybe get some chips or something? I know Shane just went shopping for snacks a couple days ago."

Alex's grin had broadened at the prospect of congratulations. He had done it; he had touched the ceiling, and that was enough to satisfy his pride briefly. It felt like a real accomplishment.
A large breath had been heaved as Alex straightened himself. His shoulders had rolled as he stood up; then he had stopped to gawk at Raven. "You've been down here all day?"
Cleaning, he estimated. That had caused him to shuffle. Without much word, he had rushed towards the stairs, jumping up a few. From over the railing, he had peered. "Then what are we down here for...? Let's go up." He had run up the stairs, calling back down.
"You haven't shown me your house, you know."
It seemed like a nice house. One worth seeing at the least.

"Well Alex," Raven said in a fake tour guide voice "This is the basement. It has a squishy carpet which feels funny, but is really hard to clean and a ceiling that has now been touched by two Edens. It might become a national landmark. There's also a bunch of toys down here and the little kids like to come down here and make a lot of noise...just like us...but louder." Raven said to fake her own mature tour guide persona.
"There's also a laundry room waaay down in the other dark part of the basement," she said as she climbed the stairs and pointed to a set of three steps and a single door at the back of the basement, "but it's scary and I don't like to go down there because it makes weird noises. Pyren thinks there's a monster down there and he might be right for all I know. That's also where Shane keeps the ice cream because he knows that we won't go in there to get it."
"There's also a big empty space, which Shane says he's going to start using soon for some adult stuff, and another room on the far back side which is an office with a shiny white laptop and bunches and bunches of paper....which I didn't clean because I don't know where any of it goes." Raven then slipped past Alex to open the basement door and stepped onto the tiles on the main floor.
"Aaand this is the main floor. Any questions so far?" Raven asked.

Alex's mind had circled. Monsters in the dark? It sounded almost exciting and reminded him of a story that he had heard once from one of the foster children he had met. They had always been drolling about monsters in the closet. For a while, they had kept Alex up as well. He didn't want to be eaten by a monster.
The thought was soon brushed aside, however. He had shaken his head to himself as they had passed through the door. A glance had been given in the direction of the basement. She had mentioned the carpet being difficult to clean.
"Yeah." He had hummed. "How do you clean a carpet?"

"Ugh," Raven groaned, breaking character "with lots and lots and lots of soap and water...like buckets and buckets of soap and water...and three pairs of ruined socks, and some wet pants too. That took me the longest, and then I had to vacuum it too, which I think just made it worse but," Raven had finally backed onto the main floor and began leading Alex around from the front door.
"On the left is a closet, which is an actual closet. Next to that is a washroom with nice smelling soaps, and it's painted purple, I don't know why. On your right there's another living room with a coffee table. The carpet here isn't as squishy, but it's got windows and so it's nice and pretty...also the TV here is bigger so we can watch movies together without having to get really really close. There's also a coffee table, but Shane uses it for tea and I don't know why he doesn't call it a tea table."
There was a pillar at the corner of the main floor living room which just made the room feel more like a room seperate from the tiled hallway, and had a step that lead down to it. The step then went up behind it and showed the room that the hallway eventually lead to, which was the kitchen. Past the pillar, the tiled hallway floor turned to hardwood.
"This is the kitchen, and it's full of food and good stuff," the kitchen had an 'L' shaped counter that ran along it from the rightmost wall and to the front, which ended in the fridge. With about a five foot space from the 'L' shaped counter was a dining island with stools placed around it. At the last part of the counter where the shelves ended, next to the fridge, was a big shelf with a folding door apparatus which Raven pulled back to reveal a pantry stuffed with chips and cookies and other various snacks that didn't need to be refrigerated.
"And this is where all the yummy treats are!" she exclaimed, pulling out a blueberry mini-cake from it's depths and began to munch on it while grinning.
