When they reached the lake Neva stared in awe. She lived near a waterfall but she had never seen a lake before. When Mel mentioned fish she couldn't help but look at him weird. "Fish? What's that?"

"Fish are..well they're these slimy shiny things that swim in the water. I could show you if I could get one out of the lake somehow.." Mel splashed around in the shallows of the lake, trying to somehow scare a fish out onto the shore...Like that was really going to happen. But he didn't have a fishing pole and there was no visibility in the murky water to be able to see them. "I don't know how to get one out though. They're easier to see in the rivers."
