"You didn't know yesterday that you would meet me." The boy replied cheekily as he settled in closer to Evzen wanting to break his personal space since he seemed to want to curl up away from others.

Evzen didn't move away from the little fox, as that was probably what one would think he would do, in an attempt to defy what was expected, yet submitting to the other at the same time.
"But meeting you hasn't made this day exciting." He replied, sighing slightly. Talking to someone so positive was depressing. But, at least Demi didn't constantly ramble in his ear like the annoying orange fox at home, though.

Evzen laughed; Demi's responses amused him.
"True, today is today, and yesterday was yesterday. But, you may be near in body, but you're far away in my mind, kid." Evzen was reluctant to give in at all, but he thought that trying to say that today was the same as yesterday was just silly.

Evzen quirked an eyebrow at Demi; this kid was starting to act like BlueBlue, and it made him want to stand up and leave right now.

Evzen snorted; that was certainly not a question he was expecting.
"Because my parents did love me." He fake-whined, before sighing. "I suppose it might be in my genes, but I think ti's mostly do the incessant rambling and annoyance of one of the Waywards living with me. You're a bit like him." He hadn't really intended to sound insulting, but it did tend to come off as such.

"But you're parents do lo--- oh..." Demi had thought the older fox had been serious. "I don't do the in-inces-santant ramblings." The boy stuttered out rying to copy the older fox's words though he failed miserable. "I just want to be less shy than mommy or daddy was."

Evzen chuckled; Demi reminded him of Erianthe then, and he found himself moving a little closer to the little fox.
"You're right, you don't, and I'm quite glad for that. If you did, I would have left by now." He looked to the other, and smirked a bit. "Well, you seem to be succeeding. Only those this determined could get me to talk at all."

"I suppose I've been lonely for too long, although it's hard for me to want to be with anyone now. And, I really don't mind you talking a lot, as long as you don't ramble at me about things I could careless about." He sighed.
