Takoda looked at his mother in a pleading vigil feeling torn between her and his love. He would never abandon his mother even if his heart was crying for its final moment to breathe those words it so longed to murmur sweetly in such a pretty mare's ears.

"Mother when I find her I will tell her everything you've told me. And when she is finally by my side I want you to meet her, for she shall be the one that shall carry on your line mother. Just as proud as Sheridan, Mother you shall be the happiest grandmother alive.. I promise." He nuzzled her with fleeting steps, so eager and forward as they dared carry him further away.
"I promise mother... I will bring her back...." he danced in place one last nuzzle before he galloped off into the distance feeling his heart soar as if wings had spread outward on his back. He would fiond her for he promised his mother and he never broke what he believed in.
