Suicune almost fell back when the butterfly took off. But he was not done yet. With leaf still in paw he tried agin to get it from the air hoping that the leaf would not hurt it in any way.

The butterfly was captured safely without any parts of its body being damaged in any sort of way. It fluttered about within Suicune's paws and the leaf, trying to find some way of escaping.
((I'll be doing the next roll depending on what you do with it now.))

Carefully closing the leaf fully around the butterfly to make a cage like thing. He then sits back down and puts a stick through the top to keep the leaf closed so he could get the next one. He was being so careful not to shake it out hurt the butterfly any way.

((4 or higher = undamaged. 1 = killed.))
The butterfly remained safe within its leafy cage, though it still tied to escape. While it fluttered about, the remaining four in the area continued to fly about. None of them seemed to be landing at any moment soon.
((I'll do the next roll if needed.))

Suicune placed the leaf cage down safely on the ground and scooped up another big leaf to try the same thing. Moving under the nearist butterfly he stood up and tried to scoop it out of the air.

((6 or higher is needed to keep it unharmed.))
Once again, the butterfly remained safe as it was scooped up against the leaf. It tried to get away though at the moment it couldn't quite do that against the momentum of the leaf and Suicune's paw.

Again he carefully tried to get the leaf around the butterfly to make a cage out of it. When he had gotten it around the butterfly he also put a stick through the top of the leaf to hold it closed. He took a moment to make sure the butterfly was still unharmed and still in the leaf.

Like the one before it, the butterfly remained trapped but safe inside of the leafy cage. Three more butterflies were left, fluttering about as if oblivious of what had happened to their kin. The one closest to Suicune, however, was zipping about in a fairly chaotic manner.
((I'll be doing the next roll.))

Suicune placed the butterfly he had just got with the other one and looked at the next butterfly. Watching it zipping about he didn't think that just using a leaf would work. He was sure he might hurt it trying to keep it still. Looking around carefully he looked for another mean to maybe slow down the butterfly or something. Nothing came to mind so he was going to try the same method as the first two. Scooping up a leaf he followed the butterfly around waiting until he could try to make a grab for it.

The butterfly continued to zip around hap hazardously, as if it was confused on where it wanted to go exactly. The insect kept this up until it finally did decide on a landing place, which happened to be right on Suicune's nose.
((I'll do the next roll.))

Suicune stopped in his trackes when the butterfly landed on his nose. He crossed his eyes to look at it for a long moment. Sitting back slowly he found the blance to get both paws up. He slowly tried to trap the butterfly that had landed on his nose.

2
Total: 2 (1-12)

((1 = dead 2-6 = injured 7-9 = Captured safely 10-12 = flew away))
The butterfly moved as Suicune tried to capture it, and as a result, a part of its wing got mangled. This essentially crippled the butterfly as it no longer was able to fly with a wing damaged like that.

Suicune let the butterfly go when he had seen it hurt. He had been to quick to try to get it and it got hurt. With a sigh he turns to look at the other butterflies still in the air. Only one more was needed. He watched carefully for his next chance.

The remaining two butterflies fluttered about in the air. One was several feet above Suicune and landing on a flower that blossomed from the tree's branches. The other was out in the middle of the clearing, and it didn't seem to have any particular destination.

Sitting and looking at the other two Suicune thought on what to do next. If he stood up on his hind legs he wouldn't be able to reach the one above. So he looked at the one in the middle of the clearing. It seemed more of within reach to him. So he got up and started towards it. If it came any closer he was going to try to get it with a leaf like the first two.
