Josie took the cue for what it was and decided against calling it. Calling Aure in her own realm would be foolish, and reflect poorly on her character and family. Perhaps she would confront her at some later date, but for now she feigned her own good intentions.

Shaking her head, her soft laughter became audible. "You're wise, Aure. There isn't need to fight over it...Why don't we continue in a more amiable expression?" Albeit she would thoroughly enjoy sinking her keratin claws into the man's jugular and ripping the chord out to strangle the press. Such lovely press...they were almost as disgusting as Edward. Example, example though...She looked towards Victor and lay a hand on the toddler's head. "What do YOU think we should do, little one?"

Victor looked pensive for a moment before turning to look at Jezebel. She was interesting. Not that Aure wasn't, but with the many eyes shifting to him he felt a bit uneasy. Looking at her helped aid that feeling a bit while he mulled over it. "I....We should..." He then noticed something familiar to him was missing. "A piano. It would be nice...Jezebel likes music?"

Klaus gently brushed Jezebel's hand with his own. Hopefully she would calm, allowing him to remain for a bit longer. He heard the woman call, but couldn't help but linger - curious and a bit afraid to move. Leaving or staying could cause chaos...

"P-piano?" She trembled, tucked her hands between her knees. Her head bobbed as she swallowed once, twice, three times before lifting her chin a little. "D-daddy plays piano sometimes," Jezebel said. "I can't see Daddy anymore. They took him away." Cruelly, she twisted her hands into her snowy hair and pulled, doing her utmost to rip her hair out at the roots. "Come back, Daddy, I love you forever and ever!-" Her breath came harshly through her teeth and she closed her eyes tightly.

Anna looked nervous. "Usually she takes it out on others. Please, sir, call your son back, I don't know if she can control herself."

The figurines along the wall began to shatter, one by one, though not one shard left the shelf on which the porcelain was confined. Aure watched in fascination that was cleverly disguised as fear. "Is that telekinesis?!" But of course it was. Jezebel had just elevated even over Victor. Telekinetics could be such a fine asset.

As suddenly as it had started, it stopped. Her breathing calmed and her hands dropped to her sides with tiny strands of white hair between her fingers. Tiny little roses of blood had blossomed in her hands where her nails had met her skin, and little streaks of pink were in her shorn hair. "I would like that," she said, a little breathless. "Do you know Mozart's Dies Irae, little boy?"

To be young and innocent, untainted by the evils of the real world. To be the son of a necromancer even better. Victor was not scared. He'd seen telekinesis before and thought it only slightly odd, if not sad. The beauty of his age allowed a genuine sympathy, rather than the aloof pity that adults often feigned. He shooks his head a little as she calmed enough to speak. "I don't...I would like to know it though, and play it for you. I'm sorry about your Daddy..."

Klaus was not so innocently ignorant though. For the few moments it had happened, he had been frightened. Away from her, he staggered back, certain that she was furious and aching from the child's query before everything sort of reversed. The storm seemed to vanish and she was calm. There he approached, hesitantly. "Are you alright, Jezebel?"

She hummed softly to herself, presumably the Dies Irae, but she seemed to have already forgotten Victor was there. From the pile of blankets folded at the foot of her bed, she pulled a warm red afghan, and draped herself in it. Effectively, she was invisible.

"I think we had better move on," Aure said. It certainly didn't look like Jezebel wanted any more visitors.

Klaus nodded and waved to Jezebel, albeit she was not paying him mind. "Goodbye, Jezebel. I hope we meet again someday soon." He then turned and left the room, joining the group in the hallway. His father was giving him a displeased look, but for once he didn't cringe. It would get better...

Josie gently turned her son away from the woman and stroked back his hair. "Come on, love. Let's leave her to rest for a while."

Almost impulsively, Aure stepped into the room and touched her fingertips to the blanket over Jezebel's head, bent over enough to ensure she could hear. She stayed like that for a moment, then returned to the group. "Let's continue, shall we?"

Anna nodded and moved on. The blonde woman took this opportunity to discreetly chat with Klaus. "What did you think of her, sir?" Sweet and innocent, perfectly acted out as usual.

"I think that she wants to protect others...something happened to her to make her this way. I don't believe it was her fault..." Although he knew so little of the situation involving how Jezebel had wound up in such a place. They seemed to be taking care of her though, at least. Perhaps he would steal away to see her again whilst his father busied himself with other matters.

She smirked. Well, the girl would be well again eventually. And Aure would be there to take advantage of it. "Thank you for sharing that with me," she said sweetly. "I wonder where we'll be going next?"

Klaus shrugged and continued on with the group, not dually concerned about her query. They would only go on deeper into the bowels of this place, regardless of prior premonition. The better question would have been: what's waiting for us?

Aure smiled again and followed the group quietly through the rest of the tour. Of course, she piped up with the expected responses when something impressive or shocking was revealed. This place was mostly rough, with only one diamond, and that would be Jezebel. While Anna checked in with her superior, she lingered near a bookshelf and pretended to read the titles.

Josie was not one for theatrics. When the truths were revealed, she would look at her son and gauge his reaction to what the world was. Sometimes it was the common response of discomfort or pity. Other times he took almost an almost engrossed interest. It was an enjoyment to watch, and she found that he would also turn to observe her - unsure of what to think of something.

Klaus on the other hand merely wandered with the group, his own thoughts preoccupying him though his eyes would follow where they were want to go.

"It's Klaus again," said Jezebel vapidly. An aide was leading her through the lobby where the group stood. "Is he going to the place of birds too?" Rust-colored spots, more predominant than earlier, still dotted her hair and her hands were heavily bandaged- more heavily that necessary for those two little cuts from before.

The aide muttered something that made Anna gasp.

This was interesting. Aure turned with a confused smile on her face.

Klaus arched a brow and turned to Anna. What had the aide said, and what was this place of birds? The latter tugged at his mind with a strange lure that could not be denied. "Does this facility have an aviary, miss? And are you alright, Miss Jezebel?"

Josie too was curious, but dismissed the mutterings. It was Jezebel that interested her. She couldn't contain the small, smug sort of smile that formed as she brought her thoughts to surface. "My, is it common for the patience here to receive unregulated doses of medication? I thought one might expect a higher standard for such a delicate resident."

"Wasn't our fault," the guard muttered rebelliously. "Stupid b***h tried to pick up those broken figurines, an' hurt herself again after lookin' at em. She f'in' tried t' kill me 'nd my buddy."

Jezebel smiled quite candidly. "The place of birds... There are birds on the wall there. It is peaceful, if a little lonely. Sometimes they think about putting someone else in with me but the last one they did that to died." Her smile became, if possible, more angelic. "Lamia did it. She was hungry."

"Dee-eye-dee," Aure spelled curiously. "Is that the base of her problem?"

"No," said the nurse. "We haven't defined it yet."

Klaus made short work of it. Without due concern over it, he promptly strode to the guard and made to slap him. "Sir, that is no way to talk about a lady. If she was to harm herself, it may have only been to escape the incompetence you have displayed." Frail as he was, Klaus had been raised with a sense of honor. Granted, he was not fond of a certain few who were sparsely ladies, but regardless - the conduct would not stand.

His father observed the display with very mild interest. If the boy wanted to woo some insane whore, so be it. It only served to further his public exposure. The father of a mentally distressed lad...gold. "Come now, are we going to tary much longer? I would like to proceed."

Josie was not impressed with the rebuttal from Aurelis. The woman was good. It was apparent that she had polished her public mannerisms to a very high quality to go unnoticed as she did by others. There was just the slightest, slimy suspicion that she knew more than she was letting on. Josie would not make the mistake of a naive do-thee-well. If she was clever enough to be so carefully rehearsed, she would not be fool enough to leave behind anything to serve as evidence for Josie's theories. Thus, she shrugged lightly. "Are the evaluations undertaken by specialists employed here or civilian practices?"
