I absolutely HATE Bidoof and all it's stupid evolutions. The Pokemon sucks, to no end. But at least I can waste all the stupid HMs' like Rock Smash and Strength on it, then just tag it along at the back of my party through Victory Road, since I only wanted to take along five other Pokemon anyway. ;D

Mikallen I will have to respectfully disagree with you on the Buizel line, the Skorupi line and the Stunky line. i can sea why on buizal. i find it too much like a otter, aka a water weasal. but skorupi is just a scorpion (havent trainded 1 & dont know about its evo) and skunky and skuntank are freakin skunks. where i come from, skunks are shot on sight the damn vermin.

While I didn't have much luck with my attempts to raise a Buizel/Floatsel, I still think it can make for a pretty good Pokemon. Don't know much about Skorupi/Drapion, but seeing as how Aire's Skuntank wiped the floor with half my party, I'd say it's more than decent. I've also learned to like the 4th gen Pokemon a lot faster than I did the new ones in 3rd gen.
And I'm fully agreed on the lack of fire types thing. scream As a fire type user, I was annoyed to find my only choices to be Chimchar and Ponyta (and Chimchar failed pretty hard from my point of view).
I didn't really care for any team other than Team Rocket, who were being bad for the sake of being bad. Team Aqua/Magma's goals were very shortsighted, and don't get me started on the insanity that is Team Galactic. The only good thing about Galactic was the theme that played when you battled the grunts, which was never really a challenge in the first pace.
Mag, you brought up the one question I'd been asking since the days of Red and Blue: how come a fainted Pokemon can't be caught? It wouldn't put up much of a fight, but fainting them means you can't catch them. I was always led to believe that by those means, you effectively 'killed' them. A little morbid yes, but it makes perfect sense to me.

I always thought the shortsightedness of the Team Magma/Aqua plan coupled with the fact that you actually convince them they're doing something wrong was surprisingly realistic. I made them like a sort of believable cult in my view. An incredibly destructive, earth-rending and environmentally disastrous cult, but a cult none the less.
Plus, their uniforms reeked of ninjas vs. pirates, so that was another reason I liked them.

Well, should you really have to explain to someone that water is important to everyone's survival, but an excess amounts of it can be bad too. That is, unless unless we all grow gills and fins or decide to go it Noah-style.
On the flip side, you shouldn't have to remind people that droughts are bad too, i.e. no water = no food growing, etc.
I don't want to sit here and debate about it though; I've said my piece about them and that's it. 3nodding
And WTF is up with the male trainer in DP? I really don't like the way that sprite looks at all. xp

I've noticed that Mike's character sprite looks suspiciously like it has the base for the rival trainer's sprite. xd
I wish I had the patience and know-how to make sprites... I think I need a new one. sweatdrop

I have something to say about the Biberal or whatever thing. Yes I hate them but my friend raised one and did a whole bunch of stuff with it and let me say it WILL and DOES take out half of other peoples teams because they do not expect it. Not mine because I am that good but it still took down one of my stronger pokemon.
Something I do hate though is the fact that some pokemon are simply worthless, Farfetch'd?! What the?! I mean it's stats are useless, it doesn't learn any special moves, it's ability isn't something special. Really... Some pokemon just need evolutions to get better.
Also the fact that Magnezone doesn't have Levitate?! DAMNIT ITS FLOATING WHY IS THERE NO LEVITATE!
