Grinhilda sat on the ground thinking to herself 'No one should have died at all. The life of another is not a thing to be wasted at someone else's expense.' She lay there silently and obedient. Seemingly, at least while she carefully reached for a pouch at her side. Once she grasped hold to the hollowed bull horn, she blew into the hole making a loud resounding call to all other Valkyries, and most importantly- Odin.
(I'm going to bed too. gonk )

i hate valkyries stare
*lifts foot an smashes teh horn in yur hand then shoots a ball of fire at yuu an disappears to another long hall*

Grinhilda yelled out when the flames hit her body. She rolled on the ground, and tried to stamp them out. She stood up and took out her sword, while the other Valkyries did the same around her. Before they ran after him, she said "He threw fire at me with no torch or any other means to start one. He must be a God. Be careful, but don't let him get what he wants." As they started after him, she turned her head and saw Odin appear. She had a sigh of relief as she ran to him and told him what she saw. He replied "Ares, God of war? What in tartarus would he want here.." Ares was already immortal, so there was no need to steal the golden apples.. Unless they weren't for him. "The woman! She must be seeking immortality." The thought of her becoming a god was a terrible one. She was already so evil and savage, who knows what would become of our world if she got her hands on them. Grinhilda whistled with her two fingers in her mouth, calling the Valkyries back. "There is no need to fight them. Even if they do find where the apples are hidden, they are well guarded after our last encounter with Xena. We must focus on protecting the apples, and only resort to fighting if needed." And with that, each Valkyrie went down a different hallway, except for Grinhilda and Odin who slipped into a secret wall opening, which was a shortcut to the halls holding the apples.

*wanderin thru teh teh walls an lookin in doors for teh apples...or callisto*
first chance i get teh ditch that woman...im takin it stare
*flips sword around cuz im bored then turns around an blocks a spear aimed at me. i see another valkyrie down teh hall holdin a sword*
well yuu cin help me pass teh time 3nodding
*shoots bolt of lightnin at teh valkyrie an she flys back inteh deh wall. she gets back up an jumps at me but i teleport outta teh way. she hits teh ground an makes a big hole.*
oooh that culda been a doozy 3nodding
*her sword cuts my arm but it heals up fast. then she kicks me so i push her thru teh wall. she stands back up for a few seconds them fall back down gonk *

Callisto made her way quietly through the halls of Valhalla; the farther she went the more complicated and beautiful the halls become. I must be getting close she thought to herself with a little smile. She took another step and heard a horn blow far if in the distance, she growled Son of a bachaia.. Than she shook her head and laughed Well, I suppose I get to kill more of those pathetic blond bitches. And with that thought she spun around and impaled the Valkyrie who was trying to sneak up behind her. "Yes, pathetic." She spat as she pushed the dead woman off her blade and continued down the hall.
Suddenly she came to a fork in the castle, two doors with extravagant golden doorways and in between the two doors was a brick wall with a large painting hanging on it, An Apple Tree. Callisto stopped to think for a moment What door could it be? I know one of them is a trap... She looked around fort another entrance but didn't see anything... But in the corner their was a statue of a young man holding an empty basket. Hmmm... Callisto smiled and walked towards the statue, inspecting it for a moment. "Yaaaaaah! scream " She cried out and kicked the head of the statue. Callisto smiled to herself as she watched it dissolve along with the left doorway. She made her way through the door that was left.
Inside the room it was dark and dreary and full of cobwebs, but at the end of the room was the same statue that was out in the hall, but this time the basket was full of Golden Apples. Callisto smiled and licked her lips, walking over to the statue. She picked up an apple and lifted it to her mouth.....
Just as Odin and Grinhilda appeared!
But before they could do anything Callisto took a bite of the Apple and laughed manically as golden light surrounded her body and fiery power ran through her veins.

*hears a loud scream comin from down a hall*
i wonder who that culd be rolleyes
*smiles an poofs to teh noise. gets ther just in time teh see callisto take a bite of teh apple*
mwahahahaaa twisted seems like we got just whut we came for 3nodding
*all teh valkyries start runnin in thru teh open door*
an here come teh reinforcments. this ish teh perfect chance teh test out yur new powers callisto 3nodding
*grabs a golden apple from teh basket an bows to grinhilda then disappears*

Odin laughed as she took the bite out of the apple. It was a decoy. A surge of pain pulsated throughout her body, instead of godly powers. Grinhilda stood there stoic, with her hand on her sword. She looked up at Odin, and looked back at the woman who was now screaming on the ground. A small smirk reached the corner of her lips. Suffering was wrong, but she believed too much in revenge to not have enjoyed the sight. Odin explained that the real apples required three riddles to be answered. But if they answer them correctly, he will stay to his word and let them go with the apples. Grinhilda saw as the man took one of the apples and vanished. She flicked her blond hair, in a nonchalant sort of way. She always felt more confident with Odin around.

Callisto looked suspiciously at the spot where Ares had stood just before he grabbed an apple and disappeared. What is he up to? Callisto drew her sword and let out another crazy scream as Valkyrie's charged at her. Not like I care... She laughed to herself and swung her sword, clashing with the swords of three different warriors and knocking them all backwards with the help of her new godly strength. She than flipped into the air and landed in the door way and threw two fireballs into the small room, setting it on fire. "I hope you don't get to hot..." She smiled sarcastically at the the group of Valkyries in the room, and Odin and Grinhildah before she kicked the door shut and set off down the hall.

((Oy! We posted at the same time... gonk And Tre! You are so damn compative even in RPing.... Just making stuff up like "decoys" and "riddles" last minute... stare And isn't Grinhildah still the squirly monster thingie?! and Odin is still evil!.. But whatever... None of the fire stuff happened and none of the killing valkries with godly streagth.))
Callisto growled in pain as she realized that it wasn't the power of the golden apples she was feeling but a decoy set up by Odin. She glared into teh eyes of Grinhildah as the woman looked at her with an annoying coffidance. I hate you... she thought. Callisto listened as Odin said something about riddles, and than laughed to herself when she remembered Ares had run off with one of the decoy apples. Oh well... She looked straight into Odin's eyes. "Okay God... what are these riddled you want me to answer? Hmmm?"

*sparks start flyin in teh air an a big blast of fire fills teh room. teh fire shrinks away an i stand ther holdin teh fake apple*

(It wasn't last minute! I decided I wanted to riddle you guys some ancient norse riddles when I first decided to be Grinhilda! And yeah, I am competitive. XD But I just don't think getting the golden apples should be as easy as that.)
Grinhilda took out her sword, ready to fight on Odin's behalf. But he looked at her shook his head subtly, so she put her sword away. But she was still on guard. Odin chuckled at Ares, and said to him "Your sword will do no good in getting those apples. You must answer three riddles correctly, and then I will give them to you willingly." Odin nodded towards Grinhilda and asked her to read the first riddle. She pulled out a small scroll, and read it aloud;
"Four do hang and four do gang;
two show the way, two ward off dogs;
one drags after, most often dirty.
What am I and whom do I belong?
Guess this riddle now, Ares."

After reading the riddle aloud, the parchment evaporated into smoke. Grinhilda smirked at Ares while he racked his brain on something that she could have easily answered at the age of 5.
