Duuuuuuuuuuuudde! whee That looks like so much fun! The smashes are awesome. Luigi's smash doesn't look much like a smash, more of a crack dance. The tanks are pretty cool. Is that the thing Gannon turns into from Ocarina of time, or is that an upgraded version?

I agree the smashes are rather cool. My favorite at this moment has to be Snake's. Then again, I have a thing for snipers. O.o;;
I'm not certain about the Gannon thing though. Sorry.
And I still haven't found anyone to explain where Luigi's smash comes from. emo

Aye. Yeah, it kind of reminded me of Xigbar's sniping from KH2. xd ; Snake in a box!
Hm...
Like I said, Luigi's crack dance. The only explanation I have.

I got a phone call from one of my Gamestop buddies. They are having a Brawl melee for the first 32 people who sign up. I don't know what the prize is. I know I'm not going to play, but my husband might.
This game is going to make getting a Wii even more difficult I'm feeling. Everyone I talk to wants the game.

The tournie starts on the Saturday night before the release at midnight. They're opening up a game and starting at 10 pm that night. They say that the winner will actually go to another (higher up) tournie. I'm wondering if there will be a cash prize for the winner.
I figure watching a bunch of people play Brawl until midnight isn't going to be the worst way to end the day of my birthday. Besides, there's a Starbucks right next to the store. ^_^

Ooo... Is it just at that store or is it at others? Oh, it's going to be your birthday? Well, Happy Birthday then. :3

Whee, one day left. Dangit, I want a Wii!
It's a shame. I would've liked to have gone to a tournie, but it'd probably be more of a mess than it's worth. Plus, moot point seeing as I lack the console to play the game, so going to buy it wouldn't do much good. Oh well. Have fun to those that can get one.

Thanks! I actually didn't go to the tournie. We had a lock-in the night before at my church and decided to sleep for 15 hours to catch up. O.o;;;
My husband nor brother-in-law won. They almost made it to the champion level though. My husband played as the pokemon trainer and everyone thought it was funny. He would yell random things like "Super-Effective!" Randomly through the battle.
When he lost against my brother-in-law he took the Wii controller and pretended to choke him saying something like "Try to win this brawl!" They took pictures. Yet, I'm glad I didn't go because the sleep was much needed.
So for the people who have the game now... what do you think about it? I love the graphics! They're really great for the Wii. It's going to take awhile for us to unlock all of the characters though...

Oh, that sounds like it was fun. xd Lol, Pokemon trainer. Your husband sounds silly.
It looks like there's quite a lot more characters in Brawl than there were in Melee.

My husband is very silly. You should hear him when he plays Call of Duty 4. O.o;;;; But that's another game and another topic I guess.
There are a lot more characters than in Melee. I'm really fond of the adverture mode in the SSE. The character combos chosen are kind of random, but nevertheless the graphics are so great! I have yet to see him actually use a smash though. I'm kind of disappointed about that. I have yet to have the chance to play as well. I guess I'll force him to share sometime later. ^_^
The assist trophies are also great. And the stages... are almost all interactive! The Mario Kart one was great... I love the Shy Guys!

You can use Charazard, but he's really slow.
You can't really destroy the stage so much as the stage can destroy you. It moves to either hurt and or help you depending on your timing. In the Mario Kart one Shy Guys come out and drive around the track. The first time if you touch them it's like a smash move and you go flying. The second time you can spin them out and make them hit other players.
One stage moves upward constantly and if you get left behind you die.
That kind of interactive. Although it would be nice if you could take down the stage and use the parts.
I've not seen it, but I'm told that you can take Wario's bike that he drives in on and smash it and use the parts as weapons.

Aw, slow sucks...
Dang, that would be cool though. Smash a building then throw a slab at the opponent. xd That kinda sounds like what they had in Melee. Like the Captain Falcon race track, but you couldn't make the cars spin out, and the Ice Climber's mountain. Didn't like that one too much, you spent more time trying to keep up with the stage rather than fight.
Woot! Bike power!
Ever read VG Cats? They have a lot of Super Smash Brothers stuff in there.
