KC blinked in Jaws's direction, then proceded in noticing Matt wasn't standing next to her any more. She sighed. It was gonna be a long night if her date didn't even notice her...
She decided to take some action to get the party started. She waved to Jaws and called, "If you want techno, go man the DJ station! We need to get some music pumpin' through here!"

Jaws hopped over to the large desk, fiddling around with things until she found what she wanted on the iPod, putting on loud techno, the deep bass pounding through the room.

Matt returned from the water closet. The vicious cycle of Salty food, water, and urination. Why'd he come to this dance anyway? I always end up standing on the side. And how the hell did I manage to ask someone to the dance? What the hell was up with me that day. Only thing that left his head as he came up to KC was, "Hey there KC...." Now he was nervous. How the hell do you dance techno? How do you dance anything?! Thousands of thoughts bouced and exploded in his head, like combination of pin-pong, pinball, and fireworks.

"What this?" said Matt pointing to his face. "I always look emotionless and oblivious to everything. Don't take it as an insult cause I can't change it." He awkwardly watched as KC danced. What the hell is he supposed to do now. Of course his head and foot moved to the heavy beat, as his eardrum burst repeatably from the heavy base, as he leaned against the wall. And on his face, he appeared to be blissfully somewhere else, yet still showing some nervousness.

KC raised an eyebrow and shook her head, smiling. But then she frowned and said, "We need something faster..." She sauntered over to the DJ table and, leaning on it, said to Jaws, "Anything real fast on there?"

Jaws yawned, clicking on a few things before a new song started up, a quick sixteenth note beat overlay. She raised an eyebrow at KC.

KC nodded. "Thank you." She made her way back to Matt through the now thickening crowd. "Looks like this dance is really popular, eh? Come on, let's dance!" She pulled him onto the dance floor and just busted out in random dance moves, laughing all the way.

Matt's mind sparked and fired as it usually did, but it was powerless to do anything about the dancing. Matt danced with KC. How he didn't know but apparently this is dancing.

KC just couldn't stop laughing. To her, it was weird. She couldn't dance, this was just wildly flailing her limbs in random directions. And yet, she was drawing some attention and Matt was with her. Somewhere, deep in her brain, her nervous, unbelieving side was muttering about this being unethical. Her party side was drowning it out, though, and she just kept dancing till she couldn't breathe.

After lots of dancing, Matt walked/wobbled to the snack table. He plopped himself into a chair, took a bottle of water, and chugged it. "Aaahhhh" he said. He took some more chips and relaxed, despite the loud music.

KC followed Matt, giggling uncontrolably. She poured herself a glass of punch and fell into a chair. She sipped at it happily, alternating it with grapes. "This is great! Who'da thought we'd have such great music?!"

"Wow, giddy aren't you. I imagine someone spiked the punch, since im the only one that isnt giggly, and I havn't had a drop." He grinned. "That was fun though. I don't dance, but that was worth it."

"Hee hee. Of course someone spiked the punch. It's a party. Besides, I did it. I didn't want to take any chances that someone wouldn't do it. Or they'd use something too strong." KC shrugged and took another sip. "I normal don't dance, either, but I decided I wanted to this time."

"Oh joy. At least I'm getting a ride home. And at least the person won't be drunk." said Matt wearily. "Well I'm pooped. I imagine by tonight no one will have any energy at all." he said cheerily while snacking on chips.
