Lucy said in an interview once that she really wanted the role of Xena, but they didn't want to give it to her because she'd already played an Amazon in one of the Hercules movies, so she dyed her hair to get them to give her the part.
I always thought that was weird because they recycle so many of their extras that it's not even funny! One of my favorite things to do when I watch now is to try and keep track of how many other eps an extra has been in.
Also, Renee was in one of the Herc movies, too, and they didn't make her change anything to be in the show....
The first time I saw a pic of Lucy as a blonde, I didn't realize it was her, but I like it, and I agree that she looked amazing in Celebrity Duets!

There Are Two Kinds Of Tears; Ones For Those Who Leave You... The extra that sticks out in my mind the most, is the one who played Goliath, Xena's giant buddy. He was also that a** hole in "Tsunami" who tried to steal Xena's air stare but yeah, he's in a lot of them. And Ones For Those You Can't Let Go

Sweet! Yeah, the only reason I have 1 & 2 is because my dad randomly found the box sets at the pawn shop. They were in really good condition, too! I love my dad. heart

Oh, I already have one of those. cool It's a must in my world. I hate real-life shopping, but I'm addicted to ebay and itunes. lol
I need to buy a poster, too. I thought my roommate got me one for Christmas, but it turned out to be a Tomb Raider movie poster, which is fantastic, but I still need a Xena one!

I get them randomly for birthdays and stuff. I love my mom. smile I need a Xena poster, though. I've got a whole bunch of Disney and dragon stuff up in my room right now. lol.

I got mine at Pawn America... eek It was pretty scary walking through that store being my freaky punk hippie self..... Thought I was gonna get shot... But it was worth it for Xena. wink
