Crimson eyes looked to Muroki as he introduced himself. Kirjava had met another lion quite a while back and they had a conversation about names and such. Tail flicked, "My name?...I'm Kirjava." A nod was elicited and a flick of her tail. She had noticed out of the corner of her eye that the orange male was walking towards the two lionesses. Ah well, guess he isn't the social to cubs or something, she thought to herself before turning her attention back to the other male by the name of Mawali.

'Malawa' nodded back. "Care to explore or play or something?"
*
Rahima grinned, looking towards the orange male with ruby eyes. A swift nod as a greeting would have to do. Her paws itched to get on her way, claws kneading the ground. A tinge in her stomach - quite unlike Kicker's protests of being confined to her womb - made her purr and grin grow.
"True enough. Well, my friend, I'd best be off...unless you want me to stay until we know the young male is safe?"

"Where are you planning to go?" Laini asked quickly, kind of hasty way. She didn't want to be left out here alone. This place was new and strange to her. She didn't know the places. Not safe spot to get birth. "Could I come along?" she asked them, blushing a bit for embassament.

"I came here once, briefly. There's a nice spot where I want to make a scrape, there's a group of rocks...a little less out in the open." Rahima sounded lively, in a scared but happy way. It would be a couple of hours, perhaps, until she started to go into labour. But boy, did those hormones give you a high.
"Of course you could Laini."

((Meh, sorry all. We are going ahead. sweatdrop ))
Laini smiled happily, glad to have such a friend like Rahima. "Thank you", she said, standing up, ready to go. "I would be happy to see that place..... My time is soon too."

Perking up at the idea presented by "Mawali", Kirjava nodded her head. Getting to her feet, she walked towards the male and waited to see where he wanted to go. "That might be fun."
((Be back later. ^^))

(Bye Kirei! <3 And sorry for just continuing, but...^ ^; )
"No problem - I'll show you them" Rahima led the way there.
The rocks formed a rough circle. The smallest was as tall as a lion's shoulder, then other's ranging up to twice as tall where they joined into the side of the crater wall. With only three gaps, it was a natural bay like haven. It probably used to be a waterhole or perhaps an odd product of erosion. The red lionness really didn't care - it felt defendable and safe. Like a nest.

Laini followed her to the nest like formation of stones. She smiled. This was just right place where to get birth. "Oh! It looks perfect", she rejoyed and dared to even take couple running steps inside their rocky nest. "You were lucky, to able to find place like this."
((Hmm, when we start the actual birth? *Wants to know when to rp the first contraction of Laini. She will get it first, right?*))

((Well, it'd be better if there were more people here to RP the other possible-rogue-pride lions, and there needs to be the earthquake and such. Maybe we could just RP them getting ready for it for now? I've got Rahima down as 'in a few hours, maybe two. Twinges and hormonal mood. XD))
"I like little nooks like this, so I was looking last time...not that I had a reason then." Walking in and chosing a spot that she liked - no, loved - she scratched the earth experimentally. Her claws left deep marks in the sandy soil. Looking up at her friend, she had to wonder...this was her first pregnancy too and she was unsure. "Do you want to give birth here too? I know we cats sometimes have midwives, but sharing a den?"

((Yeah. I think that Naita should have the final word when the eartquake starts. *Giggles.* Can Laini get the first contraction? Can she? Can she? blaugh I want her to say "Something is very wrong." when she feels her contraction and earth shaking at the same time.))
"If you just allow it." She said, following her steps and searching her favorite spot of the nest. She looked at the sky, seeing couple birds flying above them, like escaping something. She watched them for awhile, then sighing and turning her head, smiling a bit, but still now weaker.

((Sure and I agree about Naita choosing. But Rahima get's the first...err... xd Something?))
"Alright. I might be nice having you here, a friend for support and such."
She started constructing her 'scrape'. Not too deep, just an impression in the ground really. Two inches at the deepest part. Cozy. It would take her a while, however.

(( xd You don't know yet? Heh, at least she will be done at first.))
Laini gave her a thankful smile. There was no words needed to express how thankful Laini was right now. She smirked shortly, approached her and gave her a light and quick nuzzle to her crimsom side, then starting to make her 'pedding' comfortable.

Rahima purred and continued her work. At this rate the grey female was going to be moved up to the rank of honorary 'sister' in the crimson lioness' heart rather than simply 'friend'. Something only Bahkti had accomplished so far for being so loyal and kind.
((*taking ages to reply - sorry, work!* ))

((It's okay. Btw, Dusty posted the getting pride info. I posted it into brainstorming thread.))
She started to purr as well. She felt happy and comforted. No fearful feelings disturped her mind right now. Having a good friend like Rahima around, supporting her in times like this was calming. It was a good thing. Really.

Soon as her 'bed' was made, Rahima sat next to it. The sun would dry and warm it for her. Right now, however, she was terribly thirsty and even a little bit hungry. She struggled to remember the layout of the immediate area.
"Laini? Would you like me to show you where the nearest waterhole is, if you're done?"
