RP Log # 2

Roman touched her mind, testing her guards. He sent her waves of reassurance. "There are not many who know that a vampire runs loose. It is my duty to hunt them and eradicate them before they are found out. Your reflection in the puddle does not do you justice. You are far more beautiful than any image you will see in a reflection."

Sunrise Song returned the smile "well how do I know that...things could happen still even though you say that, you could like come across one that is more powerful then you and then you..you..could like be gone from my life in a flash if that ever happened, but I'm hoping it won't" she told him and took his hoof and walked over the water with his help.

Roman smiled, allowing the beast to rise enough that it was visible in his eyes. "You have nothing to fear, Piccola. It is impossible for me to leave one such as you." He pulled her hoof gently to his mouth and placed a light kiss on it.


Sunrise Song smiles "thats good hear" she answered as she finished walking over the water. Her tail swishing to and fro idly she peers around trying decide which way to follow. "as along as you don't disappear on me..I'll be happy" she told him before planting a light kiss on his cheek.

Roman's face became framed with worry. "That could be a problem, my brightly colored lady. You see, I cannot be around during the day. Rest assured though, that as soon as the sun sets, I will find you and not leave your side." His body ached at her touching him. She did it willingly. He shook his head. She had no idea what he was. Surely she would reject him once she found out that he was not much different from those he hunted.

Sunrise Song frowned a bit at what he said "aww..so that means i'm all by myself without your company for the day that makes me sad" she answered. Though it was probably for the best for him because if she forced him to stay during the day things could happen to him. She sighs before nodding her head "I understand" she answered.

"I am afraid you are very far from uderstanding, Piccola. I will explain to you all in good time, I promies. Perhaps you would like to explore a cave with me? I can show the many beauties that the dark has to offer." His voice was dark and seductive, he wanted to get her somewhere safe where he could show her the wonders of his world.

Sunrise Song ponders a bit before peering around deciding that she had a long enough nature walk in that dark. She looks at him tilting her head to the side a bit "I suppose exploring a cave would be and interesting adventure" she answered. Trusting what her senses told her she could Semi-trust him, since they had not met too long ago and she felt safe around him and felt a slight connection that would probably slowly grow.

Roman smiled. "Your trust in me surprises me. You walk with a creature of the night, and yet you are not scared." He guided her to the cave and waved a hand to light the candles that were there. This was where he made his home. "Do you enter of your own free will?" He smiled, a reassuring gesture as he placed a wing on her back, stroking her coat lovingly.

Sunrise Song looks at him 'just because you are a creature of the night doesn't mean i have to treat you like one,,you are like any other pony in this world,and just because you are a creature of the night doesn't change anything" she informed him. Before turning her gaze to the cave that was his home

Roman smiled and stood beside her. "I am sorry Piccola, but I cannot let you in until you are ready to enter of your own free will. I will explain more once we have entered and I have made you more comfortable."

Sunrise Song peers inside the cave she couldn't see much when she was outside, so gathering up her confidence she walked in to get a better look at the place. She padded around taking the cave in, it looked homey enough and it was probably all Natural. She nodded her head in approvement "not bad" she said studying the natural carvings on the walls.

Roman smiled as the torches lit, showing off the wonderful gems that studded the walls. "Welcome to my home. Is there anything I can get you to make you more comfortable? A glass of water, a cushion to sit on?"

Sunrise Song blinks as the torches lit what looked like by themselves " did I do that?" she asked curiously and goes all starry eyed at all the gems "ohh...so sparkly and beautiful" she told him and looked at him "both would be fine" she said. "talk about luxurious for a cave..not that I'm complaining because I'm not" she finished.

Roman chuckled in his deep voice. "Thank you. I do try to keep things on the modern side of Neanderthal these days." He walked over to a bar and poured some water into a wine glass for her. "Here, your water, m'lady. And your cushion of comfort is this way." He led her to a deeper part of the cavern, torches still lighting as they walked. "As for the torches, Piccola, you, in an indirect way are lighting them." The room they entered was full of luxurious pillows littered about the floor. A persian rug kept the silk of the pillows from touching the cave floor. The room was lit with torches that hung on the walls of the room, while a large bronze chandiler hung from the vaulted ceiling. "Please, make yourself at home."

Sunrise Song takes the water from him then follows him down the hallway and watches the torches light as they walked by them. Once they reached the inner cave she gasped in shocked and went wide eyed and walked over to one of the cushions and sat down. "oohh..silk pillows..these are nice" she said setting her water to the side a bit so she doesn't spill it and picked up a pillow snuggling it. "so this where the great Roman lives..very luxurious..I almost think 'm not worthy to be among all these luxurious items" she told him as she hugged a pillow

Roman laughed again, the sound filling the room. "These things mean nothing. You are the most luxurious thing in this room." He sat down across from her and wrapped a hoof around hers. "Do you believe that couples are made for one another?"

Sunrise Song blinks and looks at him before answering "yes..I do.." she answered tilting her head to the side a bit her tail swishing to and fro idly in a steady rhythm.

A gentle smiled touched Roman's lips. "That is good. My people believe the same thing. One man is made for one woman and they are able to be together for all of time. I have waited a long time to find the woman made to be the other half of me. That I would have found her walking alone is the woods would never have occured to me." He stroked her hoof in a show of affection. "Sunrise Song, you are the woman I have been waiting for."

Sunrise Song smiles at him before looking down at their hooves and smiling again she shifted her gaze upward so she was looking at him. "well it seems it was worth the wait" she told him before moving and giving him at kiss on the cheek.

"Piccola, of course it was worth the wait." He moved to kiss her on the lips, wanting a taste of his lifemate. "I must be honest with you though, I am not an easy one to get along with and my lifestyle is not one that can easily be adapted to."

"i'm sure I will adapt to it..in time" she assured him "and besides if you say you aren't one to get along with..then tell me why i'm getting along with you so well right now?" she asked him before she could let him answer she kissed him on the lips.

"You do not even know what you will adapt to and you are willing to do it. You are truly a miracle." He brushed a lock of hair out of her face and kissed her again. "Would you care to know what you are getting yourself into?"

Sunrise Song ponders a bit before answering " i suppose getting an idea of what i'm getting myself into would be a good thing to do" she answered and blinks looking at him "okay well..lets find out what i'm getting myself into" she finished.

Roman smiled. "You are a brave woman. Very well then, I shall tell you what you're gettting yourself into." He scooted beside her and wrapped a wing around her. "Then leg us start at the beginning, Piccola. I am a Carpathian. I weild much power, but at a cost. I must drink the blood of others to survive, but unlike a vampire, I do not kill my prey. I cannot be in the sunshine, and after 200 years, I lost all emotions and the ability to see in color. The only emotion I am able to feel is the thrill and joy of the kill. If I give into those emotions, I turn into a terrible vampire." He gently caressed her cheek, knowing that this was a lot of information to take in at once. "The only way for me to regain emotions and colors is to find the other half of my soul, my lifemate. You are my lifemate, and have given me those precious things back. I have lived a long time in desolation and lonliness. You are the one thing that can keep me from becoming evil, anchor me here into the world of light."

Sunrise Song listened to him and nodded taking it all the information. "Still doesn't change the fact that you are just like everyone else" she told him. "look..I'm not afraid of you, I just want to us and you to be happy even if that might come at a price, no pony is complete without emotion or a another in their life" she assured him. "and I will keep you anchored and won't let you turn whether or not you are a Carpathian or not your still a pony that has a purpose to life and have the right to live life fully, and I don't even care that you are a Carpathian it doesn't change anything" she finished

Roman smiled and pulled her close to him, kissing her passionately. "I will do my best to live and do right by you, Sunrise song. You should know that there can be no untruth between us." He held her tightly and kissed her again. And someday soon, Piccola, I will have to bring you into my world. He sent the message over their private mental link, brushing at her mind with his own.

Roman's blood grew hot and his body grew tight with her teasing him. Piccola,if you do not mean that, do not say it. It is taking all of the control I have to be gentle with you. It is not easy with you teasing me in my mind and your flesh teasing me everywhere else. He growled low in his throat as his body ached to be connected with hers. He nipped at her pulse and stroked her hair with his hoof, all the while sending her images of the things he'd like to do to her.

Sunrise Song blushed as she got the mental images. Fiesty..aren't you she peered up into his gaze. besides look around we're in a room together alone with no one here..what would suggest we rather do as she trailed a hoof up his chest lightly, teasing him all the more.

Roman shuddered as her hoof trailed up him. He moved and took possession of her velvet mouth. He forced himself to stay gentle as he ran his hooves down her body, tracing every muscle, committing it all to memory. I don't think I will ever get enough of you.

Sunrise Song beamed as he shuddered.Oh trust me...there's more to me then you think. Moving and leaning into the kiss he had started not that she was complaining because she wasn't.

Roman caught her words and put them close to his heart. She was amazing him time after time with her easy acceptance and willingness. He couldn't wait any longer, he had to have her flowing into his body. He swirled his tounge teasingly around her pulse, tempting her with all the sensuality he could muster. He pierced her skin, her blood flowing into him, nourishing him like he had never known. The taste of her blood was addicting, spicy and sweet. When he had taken enough for a true exchange, he licked the wound closed, leaving a mark on her. All other Carpathian males would know that she was his. Any who came too close risked forefitting their life at his hands. He slashed at his chest and brought her lips up to hit, compeling her to drink. Piccola, drink me in as I have you. Let my life nourish yours as it was meant to be.

Sunrise Song nodded her head before doing as she was told and drinking him in, as she did so she felt his blood mix with hers and it made her feel good. After she had finished her drink she licked the wound close before peering up at him and smiling, now she was truly happy and would be always. and it shall remain that way for as long as we both live.

Roman's blood jumped as she drank. One exchange down, Piccola, two more and you will be as I am. His body lept to life again at the thought. He kissed her, licking the left over blood from her mouth. She felt so fragile against his larger frame. He gently rocked her back and forth in his arms, prasing whatever gods there were that she was his. "Sleep, my love, until the next rising. There will be much to do then, I promise." He put his wings around and cradled her gently in his arms.

Sunrise Song nodded her head and curled up in his arms closing her eyes and dozing off. As she slept her breathing was steady and rhythmic a small smile upon her features as she curled up in his arms,she had a sense of safety when he was with her.

Roman smiled, breathing in her scent and sending a compulsion for her not to wake up until he did. He shut down his heart, once again breathing her scent in, though this time for his last breath.

Roman knew the moment the sun sank beneath the earth and awoke. It pained him to have to leave Sunrise Song, but he needed to hunt so that he could be strong enough for both of them. When he returned, he woker her with a kiss. "Cara Mia, rise and join me this night."

Sunrise Song blinked and opened her eyes rubbing the sleep from her eyes and looking at Roman with a smile. Before rising to her feet and steadying herself before stretching.

Roman reached out and steadied her as she got to her feet. "Good evening, piccola. It is wonderful to wake with you in my arms." He bent his head and placed a tender kiss on her lips. "How are you feeling this rising?"

"a bit unsteady but I'll survive" she told him with a smile before returning the kiss, her tail swishing to and fro idly

Roman smiled. "Is there anything I can get for you? A drink perhaps? You need to replace the fluid you lost last evening." He sent her hot images of her drinking his blood. "And of course, you need your strength, piccola."

Sunrise Song receiving the mental images blinks "Oh well..that's interesting..not that I'm complaining..besides you taste good.yes..preferably water" she told him before letting him go so he could go get her something to drink.

Roman glided away silently and brought her back a glass of water. "There you are." He sat down on one of the pillows and pulled her close to him. "Do you ache anywhere, Cara Mia? As your lifemate, it is my duty to see to your comfort and happiness. I will not neglect you." He smiled up at her with a devilish grin.

Sunrise Song takes the glass of water from him gratefully she took a sip and the water sliding down the back of her throat felt nice. She glances at him and shook her head "not at the moment..should i be?" she asked tilting her head to the side a bit.


"It is not uncommon for one to be sore after a night like we had last night." His smile was sensous and smugly masculine. "I was thinking about some remedies for your aches, if you had any." He sent her an image of them bathing in a hotspring and let his laughter fill her mind.

Sunrise Song recieving the mental image pondered about it for a bit before answering. "yes..a trip to the hot springs would be nice but at the moment I don't ache anywhere too badly" she said. perhaps we shall go another time

Roman smiled. "If that is your wish, I can do no other than comply. Did you have anything that you wish to do this rising?" He was next to her in an instant, brushing her hair gently with a beautiful bristle brush. It was red and the handle was inlaid with onyx filigree. A precious treasure for a precious treasure, he thought.

"the usual..a walk with nature" she answered before finishing off what was left of her water. " after that I guess we'll see what we can come up with" she told him.


Roman smiled and guided her to the entrance of his cave. "That sounds like a wonderful idea, Piccola. A wonderful way to greet the night." He took down a safeguard as they reached the entrance and bowed. "Ladies first, Carpathian lifemates close behind." He smiled and winked at her.

Sunrise Song smiles and walked past him pausing briefly to give him a kiss and the walking out into the night air. She took a breath in and smiled once again the scent of nature was always calming, she stood outside and waited for him.

Roman moved beside her, shielding her with his body in case any others might be watching. "You enjoy nature very much. Will you miss the daylight?" He nuzzled her gently and nibbled on her ear.

Sunrise Song pondered for a mintue "yes I do enjoy very much. though I don't think I'll miss the daylight that much besides..I have something better now" she told him before returning the nuzzle and answering softly "I have you.."

Roman's heart was melting. "You make me want to weld you to me forever right here and now." He brushed his wings against her gently, enticingly.


Sunrise Song nuzzles him as they walked through the evening air. perhaps later when we are finished with our walk I will. She smiles and winks at him before continuing her walk and looking around at nature's evening beauty.

Roman trailed after her, like a lost puppy dog. "Piccola, you must enjoy making me wait." He picked a small night blooming flower and put it in her hair. "I don't suppose you planned on meeting any animals here in the woods, did you?"

Roman nodded and followed her. "I have no doubt that it will be worth the wait." He watched her shapely figure move as she walked and groaned. "No wolves then, Piccola? Even if I could promise they would be friendly?"

"well perhaps..if they were friendly then I wouldn't mind running into them" she answered. Her tail swishing to and fro idly as she moved gracefully her feet gentle and elegant on the ground. If the moonlight hit her right she would shimmer.

"I am delighted to hear that. I promise you will meet the most well mannered wolf in the world." He shifted in front of her, his bones poping and his muscles changing along with the rest of his body into that of a wolf. He sat down in front of her and rolled over, a sign of submission and trust from the animal. What better mannered wolf could there be than I? He laughed gently in her head as he stood back up, eyes shinning, the only thing that gave away he was her Roman.

Sunrise Song blinks as he moved to in front of her she sat on her haunches and tilts her head to the side watching him. well it seems my Roman can shapeshift. She smiles a bit "ah..too true..well mannered indeed" she said and padded towards him before giving him a kiss on the nose a dashing wolf at that.

Roman wagged his tail happily and trotted along beside her. All Carpathians can do this, Piccola. Not just wolves, any animal, even mist if they desire. I do not want you to feel I have not tried to tell you what I am. I can command the earth and sky as well as the weather, Piccola. You do not know all of me as you should. I must admit though that I am afraid of showing you all of me. It only means you are closer to rejecting me. The wolf let out a sad, low whine and looked up at her with sad eyes.

Sunrise Song frowned as she received the mental mesage must I go over this again with you, just because you're a Carpathian doesn't change anything, the feelings or even the connection that I have with you now. I don't just decide to be with someone because of their looks and because how different they think they are to others I decide to be with someone because I know we'll be happy and stay strong and our love will grow each passing day. don't think just because I'm not one means that I can't handle your true self thats shallow for you even. Before nuzzling him and picking up her pace a bit.

Roman shifted back into his normal form and caught up with her. "Piccola, I did not mean to upset you. It is just so hard to believe that after all of these years of being alone that someone would love all of who I am." He nuzzled her. "Our love will only grow stronger, much like our mental link does. Emotions grow stronger for Carpathians naturally as they age. Though I cannot imagine loving you more. My heart is about to burst with love now for you."

Sunrise Song sighs a bit and slowed down her pace "well learn to believe it because I'm not going anywhere for a long time, besides I don't think I can...or you'll turn and that could probably mean the doom for all of us" she told him. "Like I said before everyone deserves to be loved whether or not they are different from others, everyone needs love to grow and nourish" she told him. She stopped and nuzzles him affectionately I love you for you and you know it.

You are correct. I do love to hear you say it, though. He took a deep breath of the night air and enjoyed feeling alive for just a few minutes. "Once I complete the binding ceremony, I will not turn and you will not be able to leave me. Ever. You will feel alone and full of discomfort when I am not around and our minds cannot touch. I have been trying to wait until you are completely converted to say the words because once I say them, sleeping will be uncomfortable for you."

Sunrise Song blinks "ah.okay" she said and looks around before deciding they had a long enough evening walk. She pivoted on her back foot and faced the way they came shall we head back and see what we come up with to do for the remainder of the night. At the same time sending him images of ideas that she came up with that the two could do.She started heading back the way they came, evening walks would probably become a daily part of their night time risings.

Roman's breath caught in his throat at the images that invaded his brain. I think you are right. It is time we went back to the cave. He was already beside her and fighting the urge to pick her up and carry her off like a cave-pony.

Sunrise Song who was proud of herself trotted a bit before arriving at the cave and turning so she was facing him her eyes telling him teasing him and tormenting him. She gave a small smile and lifted a hoof before gesturing toward herself as if telling him to come get it as she did that she slowly backed into the cave.

Roman quickly covered the distance between them and pulled her close. He poured all of his emotion into a deep kiss. This does not even begin to show how much I love you...

Sunrise Song gave small smile before enjoying the deep kiss he gave her that was filled with emotionYou;ll have other times to show me how much you love me in time.

Roman grinned. Do you have something else planned for us, Piccola?

Sunrise Song looks at him perhaps..unless you have something planned for us. Her tail swishes to and fro idly.

I was planning on taking my time and showing you every way I can love you. But I welcome any plans you have for us.

well at the moment I don't have any other plans, we could always take our time..its not like any of us have to be anywhere important tonight. She looked up into his eyes a small glint of mischievousness in them, and she once again trailed a hoof up his chest..stopping over the mark for a bit then moving on at same time watching him to see how he reacted.

Roman smiled lazily. The only place I have to go is whereever you are, Sunrise Song. He kissed her neck, nibbling on her ears hungrily.

Sunrise Song returned the smile well then that just settles it..we are going to take our time. She tilted her head the side a bit so his access was at tad bit easier.

Roman moved further down her neck, running his hooves along her body while his wings brushed a soft caress on her cheek.

Sunrise Song let out a soft mmmm...before giving into his gentle, soft and tormenting touch.

Roman pulled her close and kissed her, loving the way she was so accepting of him. He found her pulse and swirled his tounge over it lazily. "I think that your blood is addicting, Piccola. I find myself wanting it again and again." His voice was low and rough, a black velvet caress.

Sunrise Song returned the kiss before shivering in amusement at the cool touch of his tongue swirling over her pluse. "Thats a good thing to hear, at least I know my blood tastes good"she told him.

Roman nuzzled her neck. "I'm tempted to let you taste yourself, Piccola." He nipped gently at her neck, waiting for her permission before he took what was his according to the laws of his people.

Sunrise Song looked at him before answering and nodding her head slightly you may go ahead.

Roman held her gently to him as he sunk his fangs deep. Her wonderful spice flowed into him and he felt his veins burn with fire for her. When he had taken enough, he closed the wound and moved to kiss her, wanting her to taste how good she was.

Sunrise Song licked the remainder of her blood at the corner of his mouth, at least she got a taste of her own. two down..one more to go. Though of course this exchange didn't tire her out too much.

Now take what your lifemate offers freely. He pulled her to his chest and cut a wound in his chest. "Drink my love, so that you are one exchange closer to becoming like me."

I shall do just that.She drank his blood, feeling the two mix together inside her, she was either a whole lot more energized or she just enjoyed the taste of his blood. After she had taken enough for the second exchange she closed the would and licked the remainder of his blood off the corner of her mouth.

Roman nuzzled her as she closed the wound. With this second exchange, your body will begin to be different. You will find that any sunlight will hurt your eyes and that food will make you ill. Your body will also start to be lethargic during the noon day hours, much like mine does.

Sunrise Song returned the nuzzle. okay...I can deal with that. She stretched a bit and looks wandering what they could do now. what shall we do now.

What would you like to do? The world is yours. We could sit here, I could hold you, and you could tell me about your life, the friends you have, what you like, those kinds of things. But I am up for whatever you wish to do.

Sunrise Song pondered a bit Well..I say we just stay here for the time being until something comes up i suppose.She cuddled against Roman what was your life like before all of this?

"Before you my life was an endless patch of darkness. After I lost my emotions I fought in a war. Carpathians usually don't take up arms in wars of others, but my lair at the time was in jeopardy of being discovered, so I fought. After that, I toured Europe hunting vampires. The darkness spread with each one I destroyed until I feared I would turn. That was about one century ago. I went to ground to wait until I could find my lifemate. I awoke to feel the presence of a woman walking near my resting place." He smiled. "And from there, I found you. My life has been dull and uneventful until now. I have spent centuries learning and fighting, growing tired of life without someone to love."

Sunrise Song nodded her head "it seems you were extremely lonely and lost without someone to love. At least you didn't give up hope of finding your lifemate" she told him before nuzzling him lightly. "me on the other hand was pretty much the same as yours minus the vampire hunting, the loosing of emotions thing and what not" she told him. "My life was mostly based on nature, I spent most of it outdoors in the sunlight enjoying nature's beauty, during that time...it was practically uneventful as well not so much dull" she stated pondering about it.

Roman sat and stroked her cheek. "At least there have been no suitors in your life. I would have to be jealous of them. They would not be permitted to look upon you again." He smiled smugly, is predatory nature rising at the thought of another man anywhere near her.

Sunrise Song leaned slightly into the stroking "I assure..you that there was no other suitors in my life before you" she told him before kissing him on the lips.

"There were no other women before you. No other women could fill the void that you have." Roman smiled gently and rested his head on hers.

"i would hope not..if there was then I would either be upset or jealous" she told him leaning against him ever so lightly, a small content smile upon her features were present.

Roman smiled and nuzzled her. "I would never want you to be upset, Piccola."

"I know you wouldn't want me upset" she told him before smiling back at him her tail swishing to and fro idly

Roman groaned as he felt the sun begin to rise. "Piccola, it is time we settle in for our sleep. The sun begins to rise and I would like to see you converted before the next night is out." He pulled her closer to his chest and settled into the pillows, waiting for her to go to sleep first so that he could shut down his lungs and sleep without upsetting her.

Sunrise Song nodded her head and settled down curling close to Roman's chest, before pondering a bit then closing her eyes and dozing off, her tail curled around her body as best it could her head resting on her front legs.

Rp Log # 10

Roman rose the next night hungry. He gently moved Sunrise Song onto one of the many pillows before going out to hunt. He would have to feed well tonight to keep his strength up for her conversion. He thought about that as he hunted, worried about the pain that would be involved. Her entire body would have to be reforged, every organ and muscle. He dreaded seeing her in that kind of pain. "Arise, Sunrise Song and greet the night and your lifemate."

Sunrise Song opened her eyes and rubbed the sleep from her eyes and peered up at Roman who seemed a lot taller. "hmm..." she said tail uncurling as she rose to feet and stretched to stretch out her leg muscles from her curled up position while she slept.

Roman smiled at her. She was already exhibiting the extra grace that his race pocessed. "Are you ready for our evening walk?"

Sunrise Song nodded her head "yes I'am" she answered enthusiastically before doing a last minute stretch and shaking out her mane just case it got tangled while she slept "alright..lets go" she said

Roman ran a hoof through her mane, enjoying the feel of her silky hair on his hooves. "I think you got all those knots out. And if not, I'll brush your hair when we get back." He placed a protective wing around her as they walked away from the cave.

"i think I got them all out as well" she answered as they walked away from their home into the evening air.

Roman frowned with mock sadness. "And I was so looking forward to playing wit your hair. I suppose I'll have to find something else to entertain me..." He was surprised by his joking tone. He hadn't joked for a very long time.

Sunrise Song blinked in surprise and looked at Roman as he said what he said in a joking tone "I've never actually heard you say something in a joking manner" she told him. At the same time wondering what she did to bring back the joking tone of her Roman.

Roman smiled. "I would get used to it, Piccola. This is all your doing. You've brought this back to me just by being here." He brushed a gentle kiss on her forehead as they walked along.

Sunrise Song smiles as well "I will get used to it.." she assured him, before giving him a light nuzzle as the walked along

"How are you feeling this rising?" He felt his heart melt at her touch and pulled her closer still, wanting her body forever imprinted on his.

"i'm feeling good and energized" she answered enthusiastically before smiling. She didn't resist him pulling her closer to him,she enjoying being so close to him it made her feel like she was one person and Roman made up her other half.

"That is good. You'll need your energy for the conversion." He took a deep breath of the clean night air to clear his head. "You should know that it won't be easy. Your body will have to expel everything mortal about you, like your blood and any other toxins."

"I'm pretty sure I have enough to handle it" she told him. She shifted her gaze upwards and watches the stars shine dimly against the night sky. "I know it won't be easy..but I can handle it" she assured him

"What did I ever do to deserve such a brave and wonderful lifemate?" He beamed with pride for her.

"It also may not be easy for you to watch the full conversion to happen but just keep in mind...I'm still your lifemate and always will be" she informed him as she continued to watch the start shimmer dimly.Before shifting her gaze back to him shall we head back and finish up with my conversion

Roman nodded and turned them back in the direction of the cave. "I will be doing more than watching, Piccola. I will be shouldering the brunt of your pain. It breaks my heart to think of you in pain such as this will be." He brushed a stray hair from her forehead.

Sunrise Song sighs a bit "I hope I manage to survive this" she said. She looks at him "try not to worry about me too much alright" she told him giving him a kiss on the lips.

"You will survive this, Piccola." Roman's voice became hard and firm. "There is no other option other than to survie. For if you choose death, there is nothing I can do but follow. A life without you would be barren and dull. I have found the light in you and can no longer go back to such a bleak exsistence."

Sunrise Song sighs and shifts uncomfortably, not really looking forward to her full conversion.She looked downwards at the ground was she really ready for this final conversion. She looked at Roman and bit her bottom lip slightly.

Roman felt her doubting herself and her decision. He picked her up and held her close, pouring waves of love and reassurance into his kiss. "Don't frett, Piccola. I will take away as much of the pain as I possibly can. If you are not ready for this, then it can wait until you are. I will not force this upon you. Your happiness is my first priority."

"i know but if we don't do this now..and put it off any longer we won't get it done and over with and i would prefer to get it done and over with sooner then later" she told him. "no matter how painful it will be i need this to be over with" she finished

Continuation of RP log # 10

Roman let out his breath. He hadn't realized he'd been holding it. "If that is your wish, Sunrise Song, I can do no more than see that it is done. I'll take us back to the cave now, so that we can start your conversion." He put a wing over her face and used his preternatural speed to get back to the cave within minutes. He waved a wing and the pillows rearranged themselves on the floor. He sat her down gently, sitting next to her as he did so. "Soon it will begin, Cara Mia. Are you sure you are ready?"

Sunrise Song nodded her head and looked at him "i just want this to be over with so it doesn't burden me anymore and it doesn't make feel edgy" she told him. "I want this to be done so I don't have to worry about it and I can continue living my life with you without regrets on postponing this" she told him. "just give me that..and I won't say anything else" she finished looking at him with her light blue eyes.

Roman bent her head to expose her neck. He flicked his tongue over her pulse teasingly before he sank his teeth deep. Already his heart was aching with worry for her during the conversion. He didn't want her to see his worry, didn't want her to worry either, so he sent her images of things that they could do without the eyes of others on them. He swirled his tongue over the wound again to seal it and slashed his own chest, pulling her head to the wound, urging her to drink. Piccola, take what I freely offer and join me in the world of the night. He added a slight push to his offer, knowing she did not want to go back.

Sunrise Song upon receiving the mental images remained calm and didn't fret or protest and drank his blood without protest after she had taken enough for her third and final blood exchange with him she sealed the wound.

Roman moved her so that she was resting on the pillows, her head in his lap. "It will start soon, Piccola. Merge your mind with mine, know all that there is to know about me. I will not leave you and I will not let you go through this alone. Cling to me, let me be your rock, Cara Mia. I love you, more than you will ever know."

Sunrise Song nodded her head lightly "okay.." she answered opening her mind and merging it with his. She took a breath and relaxed letting whatever happened, happen without any protest or interruptions that would mess the final conversion up. Her breathing was a a steady pace.

Roman gently brused the hair around her face, waiting for the first wave to start, brushing her mind with kisses.
