"If I were mistaken for a stallion, I too would laugh," she started, snapping at the air as if she wanted to bite him, "as that would mean someone was blind as a bat."

She noticed him attempting to look at himself again and gave a soft sigh. It seemed like the stallion was more interested in making pretty faces at the water than he was in her company. She was a little angry at that realization and perhaps a little hurt because she had at least been enjoying herself.. for the most part. Still, if all she was doing was wasting his time, she should leave, right? He probably wouldn't even notice her leaving. Why did it bother her anyway? She didn't even know him!

Turning, the mare started walking back from where she came without saying another word. Some creatures were better off alone and certainly, Keiran was one of them. If he found happiness in being alone, what right did she have to force her company on him, of all things?

Hm. A few seconds later, Keiran noticed that she was leaving. He knew the probable reason for her action but he was actually enjoying his conversation with her. Should he stop her or was did she leave because he was annoying her? The stallion turned and went after her walking beside her. "So, am I really that bad?" He watched her curiously. He knew that he could never change his attitude and pride but he could change his actions. Keiran didn't know why he would want to change himself. He loved bothering and annoying others but did bothering Fury make him feel guilt, or some other emotion he was unaware of?

He was curious to find out.

((Have to leave now so I'll finish the reply later tonight. <3))

She was quite surprised to realize he had followed her and even more so at his question. "No," she answered honestly, "you're not that bad at all. I suppose I really just hated that you reminded me a bit of my mother. I'm not fond of her at all and she is really into self-beauty and all that. In fact, she didn't even care my sister and I existed. I suppose in some ways you're similar, but you don't seem to come off as malicious. In that, you aren't much like her at all, really. One would just have to get used to your quirks," she teased before adding, "It's not like I don't have any myself. I do have a bit of a temper at times."

Besides, he was good looking. She didn't find her mother particularly that attractive but she wasn't sure if it was just because she was female. Certainly her father had found her mother appealing, right? Keiran though, was probably the equivalent of gorgeous. If she were beautiful, perhaps she would stop and stare at herself. Beauty was not a word that came to mind whenever she described herself so she probably should cut the stallion some slack.

His actions even surprised Keiran and he was surprised that she had actually said that he wasn't so bad. He was half-expecting her to start yelling at him. "Your mother? You mean your mother stops at every puddle to look at herself?" The stallion winked at her and laughed playfully, that was a thought. Keiran was also amused with the fact that she didn't think he was malicious. For some reason, he didn't feel the need to antagonize Fury like he did with Dismay and some other soquili he had met. He had his moments.

"I guess we all have our strange habits and by the way. I do love a mare with a temper." He said almost teasingly. This was definitely a strange conversation anyway and he was acting differently then he usually would. Did Fury really have that kind of effect on him? Tossing his mane lazily, Keiran thought the best aspect of his appearance was his hair. It was just perfect and never out of place. That was something he got from his father who had even longer and more luscious hair then he had.

"So, I'm going to assume you don't like your mother much then? Heartless didn't even understand the fact that she had children until a few weeks after we had already arrived. That was... strange. But I have a better relationship with her now."

She had to catch herself from laughing. "No, I do not like my mother. I hate her. I absolutely hate her. However, my mother doesn't quite look in puddles and stop and stare at herself. But she.. well, she uses her looks to attract stallions and play with their minds. She thinks she is so beautiful and uses it to trap them. My father fell for it.. once but at least me and my sister came out of it." She didn't mention her brother. How she loathed him. He was so much like her mother from what she had heard or seen of him.

"Well, I do like being mad," she admitted. "There's a freedom that comes with just letting go and yell with all your might. You should try it sometime. I think it feels absolutely wonderful." And just to prove her point, she relaxed her body and yelled loudly, "I AM FURY!" It really did feel wonderful to her to let out the pent up aggression and anger, or to just yell for the sake of it. Sometimes hitting things made her feel good too but she would keep that one to herself. She never hit creatures though, just trees and such.

"I have a good relationship with my dad," she finally added though it was an understatement. She got along extremely well with her father and loved him to bits. He always got her. Never questioned her. Supported her to be free with whoever she was. She couldn't have lucked out and landed a better father.

He was a little surprised that she had started laughing. That didn't seem like the laughing type. But it seemed like he was learning something new everyday. "I see. I bet she couldn't seduce me. So she's obviously not that beautiful." But Keiran couldn't help but admit that the thought of another soquili that could possibly be as vain as him was intriguing. Keiran's ego was huge so of course he already thought he was more beautiful then Fury's mother even though he had never seen her.

Keiran chuckled once more. "Really? I never thought of it that way. Then again, I don't think I've ever... been mad." Shrugging slightly, Keiran was pretty sure of that. Even when he was 'fighting' Dismay, he didn't let his temper get the best of him. Though, she was unable to spill his blood. He was sure that if she had scratched him in any way, his kalona temper would have shown itself. But he was glad that it didn't. The stallion chuckled when she yelled out her name. "I guess I can see how that would make you feel better. But as you can tell, I prefer looking at myself. I also like hunting... The smell of blood is amazing." He smiled slightly as he thought about the time he used his wings to attack Dismay and make her bleed.

Nodding slightly, Keiran didn't mind his parents too much. They didn't bother him and he returned the favor. He did feel a little attached to his mother. He felt sorry for her because of the way she lived but he did come and visit her sometimes. "I get along with my family, generally. I stay out of their way and they do the same. It works for us." Keiran was never the type to be attached to his family.

Fury found herself wondering what would happen if her mother tried to seduce Keiran. She didn't like that idea one bit and it bugged her that she cared at all. When did she ever get jealous of her mother? She hoped she would never see that witch again.

His comment about blood and hunting truly shocked her. She would never have suspected that he would enjoy one of their races most barbaric sports. She had to admit that she loved it as well, but how did he handle getting bloody? Or was he such an expert hunter that he avoided making a mess of the situation. It would be interesting to find out. She wouldn't be surprised if he showed such grace while hunting.

"I like hunting too," she replied, "It's one of the other things that can make one feel so alive, though I suppose that's a bit hypocritical when another usually has to die for it."

She simply nodded at his comment about his family. It didn't sound like they were too close but sometimes that was the best way to be, especially for their kind. She had seen a lot of Kalona families that seemed displeased with one another. She was thankful to have Wrath as a father. He was definitely not your traditional Kalona and that worked out in her favor.

Keiran continued to reminisce about his past hunting exploits. There were some truly memorable times. The smell of blood was so alluring to him, almost as alluring as his physical features were. Almost. He nodded in agreement with her statements. "It really does make me feel alive. Rabbits are boring. Deer are getting boring too. I need something... bigger. More interesting." The stallion shrugged slightly. He didn't necessarily like other animals in pain but he needed to spill their blood to satisfy him and he would do anything for that satisfaction. All in all, Keiran was a rather selfish soquili. He cared about others but only to a certain extent and he always put himself above everybody else. It would be tough for him to genuinely care about another soquili more then himself. But it wasn't completely impossible.

"I guess but I'll do as I please, even if it hurts others. It's a cycle and there's no stopping it." He said almost solemnly. Keiran thought about his parents and about their lifestyles. He really didn't mind them too much and he definitely didn't hate his mother like the way Fury did.

Fury giggled before adding, "You could always try a bear." The sight of a Kalona fighting a bear was intriguing enough. She hadn't seen it done and she certainly never thought of going up against one herself. They had such big claws after all. She didn't expect Keiran to be interested in that prospect though since a bear could do a lot of damage and he was quite smitten with his looks. Though she found the idea of scars to be physically appealing, she had an idea that it would not go over well with the stallion nearby. Scars would probably drive him to the brink of madness.

"I like to think about my actions," she admitted, "but I do not feel guilty when I have to kill something, as long as I eat it. That's life. It's how things work. I don't know what my opinion is of killing something for no other reason than enjoyment. I don't think that's my thing at all, but I haven't tried it so who am I to judge?" It was probably good that she didn't have the typical kalona father for surely she would have been a disgrace to any other parent.

A bear... Keiran tried picturing himself fighting one. "I don't know. Seems a tad too messy even though I don't doubt that I would win." He shrugged slightly and grinned wickedly. He definitely did not like the idea of scars. That would just mar his flawless skin. There was no way he would put himself in a situation like that. "If it's claws touched me in any way, I don't know what I would do. Maybe go into a frenzy..." He chuckled at the thought of him like that. He didn't lose control very easily.

He listened to her and nodded slightly. "Even if I don't eat it, I don't feel bad. That's food for other animals and it was going to die by my hoof or another's anyway. I don't do it often because I can get my satisfaction when I eat but boredom comes easily around here." That was definitely true. To keep himself occupied, he spent so much time staring at himself or hunting. Interacting with others was rare but when he got the chance, he usually tried to make it last or make it interesting.

Fury couldn't hold back another fit of giggles. For a mare that never giggled, she couldn't seem to stop when it came to this stallion. Perhaps it was because she really could picture Keiran going into a frenzy. She could imagine him being a near unstoppable force. You just don't get between a stallion and his beauty!

"I suppose that's one way of looking at it. But I think the other animals should hunt their own food. It's the only way they can learn to survive as they can't rely on stumbling across a leftover carcass all the time. Also, I guess I don't like the idea of killing some baby's mom or dad, you know? So I only kill for food. I suppose that's one of the things that makes me a failure in the traditional kalona sense, but really, I don't give a flying rabbit butt one way or another."

Keiran was really surprised when she started giggling. That was... strange. She didn't seem like... a giggly soquili. But today was full of surprises anyway. "That's true." He had thought of that before, moms and dads. But he honestly didn't care. "It's not like... we do it on purpose. At least I don't. How do I know which ones are parents? There's no way to tell so I don't blame myself for something that I don't know." Keiran shrugged, he didn't think he was wrong and it wasn't like he was going to change himself to cater to other animals. That was just the way he was and he was pretty damned stubborn too.

The stallion was really enjoying his conversation with Fury. There were very few that could stand him and even though he irritated her at first, she actually put up with him. He wasn't sure which surprised him more, her giggling or her actually still talking to him. Wonders never ceased to amaze him.
