Water 7 this way you deal with the story...and i just do the programming lol..also, i dont know the personallities these people are supposed to have so if anybody could come up with things for them to say regularly that'd be good rolleyes most people that i have talked to haven't played Back to Nature and its set of characters, so I can give them normal day sayings...and the others if no one offers. :3
@ Cereah: I'd love help!! Mmm....how about, I write a "play" beginning, send it to you, and we'll just go from there. sort of talk about ideas over AIM. biggrin

this is really getting started well! i may have found somebody else also that would like to do voice acting.. razz im in search of sprites and if i remember tomorrow i may just find the sprites we need..
oh billyboyd07..i haven't checked the outline too much, i thought they were using completely new characters? if they're using back-to-nature characters that is great news because getting sprites will be much easier for me cool

they might be using new characters, but i expect that if natsume would pick our game up, they would want to include the older characters for the sake of appeasing the public. i think that the ideas of choosing between towns would be a good one to throw in there. as in, one town be forget-me-not valley, another would be mineral town, and the third would be the one with our original characters.

Yeah, I agree- part of the charm of HM games is running into familiar characters- when all of them are new it's fun but I think that nice mix is what makes them so great. The towns idea is good too- each place has it's own charm that the other doesn't hold and choices are always good. The more choices the more likely you will offer something the public will like. ^^

i cant help with mutch of any thing but finding rpg maker scripts.(i be long to a cupple sites that are devoted to that kind of stuff.)

The more choices the more likely you will offer something the public will like. ^^ true so true..but i just thought of something..wouldn't that mean there would be several bakeries and such as? i guess thats not a bad thing they could all have different stuff..lol im thinking to myself here rofl also, using old characters would mean we have to be very picky with matching them with voices..if people can't match the voices to the people as they remember them...hmm idk

(the main char)..hmm the pause screen may be strange until we make the after version... confused

i think maybe....you'd start off with your inherited farm (i don't know which town) and have to progress somehow [maybe accumulate x gold or unlock certain events (perhaps helping someone else's business get started or bringing wealth to the town, which would start out a bit run down)]...so many maybes. and once you unlock a town, you can pick up everything and move there to bring wealth to that town. you'd have to start off from scratch again with only one barn and one hen house etc, but you would have plenty of gold from the last town. plus, if it's too hard or you want to go back, you can just move back.
what do you mean by debug?
oh! and your kid definitely grows up to get married to (and have a kid with?) anyone of the three towns, but if he becomes a farmer, he'd move to a different town to take up a farm that you aren't currently working on (so that farm would become his, although you could still move there, but i don't know how that would work out).
we're not going to have him die, right? i just don't know when to cut off the children and grandchildren...i think it would be cool to have a grandchild or two, but to what stage would the grandchild grow to?

we're not going to have him die, right? i just don't know when to cut off the children and grandchildren...i think it would be cool to have a grandchild or two, but to what stage would the grandchild grow to?hmm having lots of children should be fairly simple..i can make the town people that get married have children aswell...i'll just, do a switch that turns on after you've been married so long or something.. the kind of debugging we will do is just....everyone on the project can play it thru thoroughly and when they find something not right (cow warps somewhere, your wife magiclly dissapears when you feed chickens)..we'll know to fix it before we make the final release
