HistoryWak I'd like to think so but I'd get a lot of criticism by some for 'refusing to see Nintendo's faults' or 'I'm just saying that because it's Nintendo.'

The Wii's online service is revolting at best, if it takes needing to give Nintendo more money to make it better then lets ******** give them more money to make it better.

But my distaste for the Wiimote and "waggle" is widely known in this guild (I'm certain my age has something to do with this) so can you imagine how pissed I'd be if the "One Console" were the Wii? And I had no choice but to use the frickin Wiimote to play ANY next-gen games? Uuuugggh.... While I still think we'd get some good games (devs would still try to make their games better than other devs' games) the actual functionality of the console itself would be horribly lacking. This whole concept is just as stupid as having only One Car you could buy, or One Store that you could get your groceries at. WTF? Age? That's something a n00b would say. You're insinuating it's for kids and we all have established that's not true. In relation to this topic, I wouldn't want one console. Competition allows for improving to take place and the bar is raced. I believe technology is moving way too fast anyway (even thought that don't relate too much). Also I wouldn't want a Console War that would ultimately make one console make the others obsolete like they have the chance to do in format wars. We're lucky that don't happen. Actually, I was implying that I am a crotchety, old-fashioned grump from the dinosaur era and am therefore averse to change and therefore hate the Wiimote. stare Wak, has Nintendo ever come to your aid when someone is insulting you? Because you seem to think you owe them something. Also, what's your stance on this Pay-to-Play issue that has been brought to the guild's attention in the main forum? I notice you've been pretty quiet about it. Sorry it just seemed that way. Nintendo is my baby. rofl The other two consoles don't mean a thing to me at all. For the Pay to play issue, until I hear more specifics I can't say too much more than they shouldn't be charging anything. Am I the only one that thinks Nintendo has justification for this whole pay-to-play thing? sweatdrop You probably are, considering right now Nintendo is offering the worst online service.
