Her thoughts moved onto the less disturbing topic. She would rather not think about the times back in her home world when the Nightmares had one of her comrades clamped between their teeth. With a shake of her head, she answered, "I like it here very much, thank you. It's rather peaceful here." A soft smile formed upon her maw as she continued, "No one has showed me around yet. I am afraid I was busy staying here watching over my comrades. One of them is still rather young to be left alone. Emrby and I switch shifts in terms of look out."

"She is but a teenager. But she will get around to being an adult soon enough," She chuckled, "They do grow up rather fast after all." A tail swayed at the consideration. They were both resting inside, but it would be safe to just go out for a little bit, right? This place was relatively safe. Plus they were both sleeping in one of the side rooms. Both of them were hidden from any immediate dangers.

"They can continue resting. However, if it is not too much trouble, could you show me around? I would very much like to survey the area." She smiled softly at the other.

She couldn't help but laugh at his comments. Though Seraphina was a spunky one, she wasn't always all that arrogant about herself. She knew better, and Sai knew better than to raise her that way. "If it is not too much trouble then. Thank you," she gave a short nod towards the other. Knowing the area around them would prove helpful, and gaining another possible ally was even better.

A curious head tilted to the side. Vampire kitsu? She had never heard of such kitsu, unless they were Nightmares? The possibility of that happening seemed more likely than anything. As much as she didn't like the stereotype, she couldn't help but think that way. Some of them were bloodthirsty afterall. Anything for a bit of blood to spill on the ground. Some even going as far as drinking the blood. But she was still curious, "Vampire Kitsu? I am curious now. What are they, and what exactly do they do? You can explain this to me...perhaps on our way towards your favorite spot? I would very much like to hear about this."

Her mind instantly wandered to her sleeping comrades in the back room. What if the Vampire Kitsu came then? Sure, Seraphina could use her fire abilities, but she wasn't quite in full control of those powers just yet. Sai would feel terrible if something were to happen to them. Would it really be for the best that she left them alone after hearing this news? She required more information before she made her final decision.

That was a relief to hear. She wouldn't want anything to happen to Embry or Seraphina while she was away. It was alright to go with him now, but not for too long. Just a short time, just enough to get a feel of the area...she told herself. With a soft nod, she spread her wings, grinning, "Shall we go then?"

Her wings folded gently against her sides. Anything method of travel was fine with her. Walking was fine, too. She needed to strengthen those leg and arm muscles of hers anyhow. The distance mattered little as well. She had traveled to many places in her life, especially in her home world. Even if she used her wings most of the time, this was alright, too.

She followed behind him quietly. As usual, though, she was alert for any dangers. It was part of her instincts she could not rid of. Even in such a peaceful place, sometimes accidents can happen.

As the noise rustled from the bush, her ears perked up almost immediately. They twitched about quickly, trying their best to follow the noise. What her eyes cannot see, her ears can hear. And when the rabbit leaped out, her posture relaxed back to normal. Only a rabbit. Though aside from the twitching of her ears, her body didn't show it was tensing up to the strange noise. She wouldn't want to worry the fellow. "I am fine, thank you. And you?" A soft smile formed on her maw as she asked.
