November smiled at him. "That sounds nice..." She had known that there would be good days and bad days with her pregnancy. She supposed that this was one of the bad days. She was very glad that Spotty was so supportive.
She could see that he was worried about her, and that concern warmed her heart. She nuzzled him happily. "I'm glad you feel that way," she said teasingly, ignoring her discomfort, "because I have a feeling that the longer I'm pregnant, the more time I'll be spending in the teepee."

Spotty began to walk with November back towards the teepee. It would be good for the two of them to get warm, especially November and the little ones inside of her.
The stallion was just glad that November seemed so calm and happy during all this. He would remain unchanged and she would continue to change and feel all the effects of the impending birth. That's why Spotty was determined to stay by her. It was the least he could do.
"We can go for another walk later, maybe to the river. We can see if it's frozen or not."

November walked next to Spotty, glad to be heading back to the teepee. She was tired, and her ears began to droop slightly. She would have to take a nap when she got back to the teepee.
She smiled at Spotty when he mentioned the river. "I hope it's not frozen. The river's water is so sweet." She loved the taste of the river water. She just hoped that it wouldn't be too cold.

The teepee was only a short walk away and the two Soquili were almost there. Spotty thought about the river, it had been getting warmer lately, after all spring was on the way. So maybe it wasn't frozen, there had been much less snow falling than on the previous week.
"I bet it isn't frozen. Even if it is, spring is just around the corner."

November saw the Teepee peeking out inbetween the trees. Her ears pricked up a bit, because she knew that she was almost home.
November smiled at Spotty. "You know, the babies will be born in the spring." November knew that the babies would be born in a few weeks, and she was both excited and afraid at once.

"Spring babies huh? That's a good time for them to be born." Spotty said, glad they wouldn't be born during the coldest time of the year. Snow probably wasn't the best for young horses.
The two finally reached the teepee. Spotty stood to the side and motioned for November to enter first. He would enter once she got situated.

"I'm glad they will be born in the spring, too. Everything will be green, and the flowers will be blooming. And it will be so warm, the perfect temperature." she said, smiling.
November walked inside the teepee, thankful for it's warmth, and gently lay down. It was more difficult than usual to do so, because she was so much larger now. "Oof." she said softly, as one of the foals kicked her ribs.

Spotty couldn't help but let out a small laugh when he saw November getting down. He still couldn't believe that he didn't realize she was pregnant. He just hoped that the babies inside her weren't too bothersome. "Are they fiesty little ones?" Spotty joked when he saw expression.
After she was settled, the stallion entered the teepee and laid down next to her. "Now you can get some rest," he said giving her a smile and a nuzzle with his nose.

November laughed softly at Spotty's comment. "They can be, at times." she said, smiling, returning his nuzzle. "I hope they'll settle down so I can get some rest." She nosed her belly gently. "Hey, you guys. Calm down in there so Mommy can get some sleep."

Spotty let out a small laugh and imagined again what the babies looked like and how they would act. November looked tired, so the stallion gave her one last nuzzle before becoming quiet. He wanted her to rest so she could gain back some of her energy. She would never do this if he didn't stop talking to her.
"Rest up, November," he said quietly, starting to close his own eyes. Even if he wasn't the pregnant one, the day's events sure did tire him out. The couple deserved a rest...they had quite an adventure ahead of them.
