This quiz is horrid...
The last one about music made me mad...cuz I could tell the goth emo music thing was for Hiei..and it makes me angry when ppl call Hiei emo...some girl posted on youtube: "I love my little emo Hiei!" or some bs like that..I got very mad and very defensive. Hiei is NOT whiney! He is not emo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! scream scream scream scream scream
Okies...I am better.no I'm not - it still makes me mad...but I'll just brush it off as a crap comment.

That's just ridiculous. As far as I know, no one on that show gives a damn about music anyway. Why would they? They're fighters, not pianists!

Would Hiei like classical? Didn't he say his lullaby when he was a kid was screams of pain or something like that...."Their screams soothed me." some stuff like that...so yeah Hiei's music is fighting.
Yusuke.. XDDD he obviously doesn't have a liking for Megallica XDDD. I don't have much of an idea for him...
And Kuwabara obviously enjoys some good rock...
though Yusuke calling a rock band a pop band....maybe he listens to heavy metal XDDD or rap XDD I don't know *shrugs*

XD No, no InkMistress they're most CERTAINLY not. (except for Youko Kurama in the Sims 2 XD) I could see Kurama being very tolerant of all sorts of music. Hiei...would not exactly be too fond of music, ESPECIALLY screamo, in my opinion. He'd find it vile and annoying. I could see Yusuke favoring rap, but also the more angry music just because he might listen to it to get pumped for a fight or during training, and also it could be things he could relate too. : ) I could ALSO see him when asked to fight someone, putting in Dido or something just to for a good laugh. Kuwabara probably knows all about the classic good rock like Guns N Roses and the Beastie Boys and the Foo Fighters and probably knows about U2 and crap like that. But I can definitely see him listening to All-American Rejects and just stuff that plays on the radio. I could ALSO see him getting pop beaten into him by Shizuru. It'd be SO FREAKIN' HILARIOUS if Shizuru liked pop. XD

-Hiei would kill the radio until nothing was left of it...maybe a few ashes?
The girls- their music?
I think Shizuru might like things like Kuwabara..but I'm not sure...she does seem a rock girl to me...but hey i don' know.
I can see Keiko into pop and lighter stuff...but I guess she could listen to darker stuff ..
Yukina probably likes more natural sounds that are pretty- like the flute!
Botan..hm...Music in spirit world? Something catchy though..
Mukuro..again....I don't think she listens to anything..
Genkai! she could so do rap! XDDD

I always pegged Shizuru as more of a 90's girl--you know, Alanis Morisette, Sheryl Crow, early Green Day, the works.
For Kurama, because of the songs they play during his fights (when it isn't the standard DOOMY DOOMS OF DOOM soundtrack), I can see him being into jazz, or classical.
And Keiko? Yeah, probably something poppy or generic. No offense to her, but she seems kind of like that. I love Kuwabara's choice in music. XD
In my fics where music in the demon world is brought up, I always try to describe it in wholly different terms than human music--different instruments, different sounds, and altogether a better experience. (I imagine it something like classical big-band, but better.) That probably comes from the sound of the Makai whistle. I know it was evil, and I know it controlled drones of bugs, but it sounded so beautiful. I even liked "Prelude to Keiko's Suffering." Which is kinda evil.

Yes. I have a strange sense of humor. I even remember what key it's in. That's how bad I am. o--o;
Yeah. Especially since Shizuru's older I can see her with more 90's stuff.
I think it's pretty obvious that Kurama likes classical because that's what he listened to as a baby. That's why he's so smart because he listened to Mozart....(I'm JUST kidding. lol ; D)
Keiko, yeah, I could see her with bubble-gum pop type of music. No offense to her at all, but she is the average schoolgirl, no offense again. I mean, OBVIOUSLY she's not average. She's like, valedictorian and popular and all that crap, but she's...yeah...lol I love you Keiko! ; D
Genkai I could see being like any typical old person and being kinda like, "What screeching are you listening to?"
Keiko: " 'Womanizer' by: Brittany Spears." (not exactly head on with what I had in mind. Probably "Bubbly" would've been a better choice...)

In my fan fic, since my OC is VERY musical I've been working on conquering this challenge. I'm thinking that YES there ARE genres of music that would obviously BUG Hiei, but I think if he was asked to, he would listen to the lyrics and just kinda picked songs that stuck out to him.

I just think Hiei would like more beautiful songs..though he wouldn't say so..hahahaha

Yeah. : D I could totally see that. I think he'd like songs like "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles (sp?) and Reina Del Cid. But yeah, just nice mellow with a nice voice. But I could see him like, recalling the smell of freshly spilled blood and stuff like that as he was listening though. ^^; I think he'd also like songs without lyrics though. Like Yiruma. Actually, that might be more of a Kurama song. ^^;

Haha. "Gravity" is one of my many OCxHiei songs actually. ^^; Guess it makes sense though, since Hiei's still involved. XD
Hmmm...
Random question. How would Hiei react to having a song written about him? I mean, I guess it kinda depends on what it's about and what genre it is, but yeah. Lol XD

I once read a poem about Hiei--it was either called "Beseech" or had something like that in the title. It was really amazing, mostly because it was so subtle that I couldn't tell who it was about until she told me. I don't know about songs. I've never been able to write them, so I have no authority there.
