Marcus yawned and kissed her forehead "Indeed. Goodnight my love" He stood up and walked to his couch.

Kumiko's eyes gently opened to the rays of the morning sun. Her auburn colored hair, which used to be at her shoulders, was now near her waist. Her bangs were like curtains that framed her face, ending at her chin. She gently stretched her body out, squeezing her violet eyes shut for just a second. She slowly sat up, yawning softly. "Man, I feel like I had slept for years..." she mumbled.

Marcus stood in the doorway. He was wearing his black armor. It was dented and starting to rust. A scar ran from the middle of his right cheek to the end of his ear and his black hair was a little long. His eyes were a dull black.
He looked at Kumiko as she woke. It had been months since he has seen her face. Not since he left to fight the Lin Que Empire five months ago.
"I'm back...Kumiko..We..won."

Her eyes, which were thick with sleep, suddenly sparked as she saw Marcus, the man she loved, the man she had waited those long five months for. "Marcus..." She slowly stood up, and walked over to him. Her feet took her to him far too slowly, but she couldn't make herself go faster; she didn't want this to be a dream. "... You're still alive..." Her voice was soft, but filled with wonder, and ecstasy.

Marcus smiled for the first time in a long time. His eyes filled with light once more. "Kumiko..." He lifted her chin and kissed her lips.
Oh but it was like tasting heaven. The lips of the woman he longed for gave him life once again. When he separated the kiss he said, "You have grown more beautiful, my love. And sexy too, If I may say so." His voice was alive and back to the way it was before. He smiled warmly at her.
The old Marcus was back.

Tears quickly rushed to Kumiko's eyes, hearing him talk; seeing the light fill his eyes right in front of her. He truly was back. Marcus, her love, was finally home. She pushed herself on her toes and kissed him, with as much passion as she had saved up, waiting for him. Her index finger gently traced the scar he had, giving a soft frown as he pulled away from his lips. "I must say, I hate knowing that you got hurt, but your scar definitely adds a manly, and very sexy, touch."
