That was what he wanted to see, that delicate blush that darkened her cheeks, and naturally he took it as a response to the brief touching of their tales. To him it was only logical to pull something like that off again, and so once again his golden tail brushed against her own, except that it did not move away, but remained a constant presence. And he pretended not to notice that he had done anything, but what he had done was the first step of many to make this lioness briefly fall for him. That was his goal, and how far he got with her didn't matter too much... so long as he enjoyed himself in his flirtations with her (though more certainly would not be minded by Ezeoha). "Don't feel bad for your size, it gives you certain advantages, and personally you're rather adorable in your small size. So, don't worry yourself about it, and you two can most certainly rest here if you are tired." It would give him more time with Tia... and more time to make things progress to the next step. "Yes, this is true. The Pridelands are rather fertile. If you stay long enough I can show you."
There was no denial that Ezeoha was charmed, and it was clear that Ezeoha was hoping to charm Tia. "You seem to have been doing well for yourself and your sister. You two are in fine health." In response to Eztil's statement, though, Ezeoha could only shrug his shoulders. "I never was able to watch over my own siblings. My father and I never did quite get along with one another." It wasn't a typical response, but it was the truth. Ezeoha had wanted to watch over his siblings, but with Denahi it was almost impossible to. They just didn't see eye to eye, and when it came down to it, Ezeoha downright hated his father.

Tia looked away, as if his compliment had flattered her beyond belief. She added a little intake of breath, as if to add to the possible idea of being cute and having his tail touching hers. At his confirmation of the pride being fertile, she looked at him shyly from under bangs and eyelashes alike. "Ohhh...." she murmured, in a soft, pleading suggestion, "Could you show us? Please? I haven't seen anything like it in ages....if I've seen it at all."

"Oh, we shouldn't..." Eztil looked over at the other lion, getting a better feel for him now that they had spoken a little bit, "We wouldn't want to take up too much of your time... and besides which, we should really be finding somewhere to stay the night, Tia." Though he did look sorry to miss out on seeing what the Pride Lands were like. And he looked even sorrier to deprove his sister of the oppertunity. Claely an older brother who wanted to give his sister a chance to see the world.

Again he took another small step in the wooing of Tia, and their touching tails suddenly were twined intimately together. The move was obviously intentional, and even a ditsy lioness would be able to realize that it was not an accident. His red eyes watched Tia with a hint of adoration in them, as if he simply found her too cute. "I would love to show the both of you around," he told her in a charismatic voice, his body pressing subtly against her own. Of course, he'd much rather just show her around instead of take her brother along. A few hours alone would be all he needed to get Tia where he wanted her and to satisfy his need to flirt and his need for... more. He needed to separate them somehow, but that was a difficult task, and one he was unsure he could accomplish. It all depended on Eztil, and he hated depending on the lioness' brother. It was risky... and he really did not want to get his behind kicked for making too many moves on Tia.
"Oh, it would be no problem at all, really. My time would not be wasted, and if you really need a place to stay for the night, my den is open. It is big enough for the two of you and myself included, though I can sleep outside if it would make you two more comfortable." Ezeoha's words and tone were coaxing and sweet, red eyes reassuring the other male that it would be perfectly fine to enjoy oneself and explore the Pridelands. He was beginning to think, though, that this was a lot of effort for one lioness. But... she was beautiful... and he could not turn away an opportunity to be with someone as beautiful as Tia.

Inwardly Tia grumbled. Didn't Eztil have the tact to realize it was time to separate? He made it sound like they needed to stick together and that did not work in their advantage. But there was no time to pester him about it. There was an act to keep up. Instead she turned herself with pleady eyes to Eztil, leaning close to Ezeoha desperate, "Oh pleaaaasseeee, Eztil, can't he just show me around a little? Even if you want to go den looking? Pleeaaseee? I even so want to see all the hills and the flowers...."

Eztil would have rolled his eyes at her, almost sensing that she didn't like what he had said. But half of playing the game was acting the part, "Well... alright... I should look around a bit more. We really couldn't impose on your sleeping quarters... would you... would you take care of my sister while I find a place for us to sleep?" He asked the other lion, "Please... I know it's a lot to ask... but if I know she's safe then she can look around, to be sure..." Though he still sounded a little unnerved by the idea of leaving his sister with a strange lion.

Ezeoha could do nothing but carefully observe the interactions between the two siblings. It seemed as if nothing he said or did would change Eztil's mind about touring the lands, but that did not mean that Tia couldn't work her magic on her brother. That was what Ezeoha was depending on right now, that Tia could somehow use those bright eyes of her's to charm Eztil as she had charmed Ezeoha with them. Of course, that still meant he would have to drag Eztil along with him as well, but that he didn't mind so much. He still got more time with Tia, and even with Eztil in sight he could make some subtle moves that would turn the lioness over to his will. Ezeoha had done it before, so it would be no trouble to do it again. Eventually Eztil wouldn't be around Tia, and that was when Ezeoha could make a more blatant move, one that Tia would hopefully enjoy and respond well to.
But things suddenly seemed to take a turn for the better for Ezeoha, and it was quite difficult to keep a grin off of his face. Eztil had provided him with an opportunity to be alone with Tia for hours, which was exactly what Ezeoha had wanted. Things were playing out how he wanted them to play out, and it was hard to keep the eagerness out of his voice. "I would gladly take care of your sister, and I will see to it that no harm comes to her. I promise you that. It's not a lot to ask, and I'm more than glad to do it. I'll give her the tour of the Pridelands, it's pretty safe in these lands, and with me by her side nothing ill can befall her."

"Oh thank you Eztil!" Tia crooned with a rush of feeling. And very much like a niave, newly smitten lioness she bounded to her feet, turning her attention again to Ezeoha. "May we go?" She shifted her feet, looking very pleading and eager. Whether or not she was trying to put on a act that she wanted to see the pridelands or she wanted to be alone with him was impossible to say. But she did that on purpose. Let Ezeoha assume what he liked.

"Alright, alright." Eztil agreed with his sister, laughing a little before he looked back at the other male lion, "Please... take good care of her, she's the only family I have left." He looked back at her, smiling, "I'll find us a place to sleep. You can show me what you've learned tomorrow. Who knows? Maybe we'll finally find our new home here!" As if that would ever happen. He looked once more at Ezeoha, "Thank you again."

An amused smile was pulled onto his face as Tia's eagerness got the better of her. In a way, Tia reminded him of Kia.. and really one letter changed in Tia's shortened name would make them the same. That in a way should have forewarned him, simply because his interactions with Kia had turned into a fiasco. It had left him with five cubs that had to grow up motherless (not that they suffered from it - his children were strong and they of course had him). Ezeoha should have learned his lesson after Kia, but apparently he didn't. As Tia stood up, he did as well. "Of course we can," he told Tia with a warm smile. Now all that was needed to be done was to say good-bye to the brother... and then he would have a full evening alone with a gorgeous lioness.
"I promise to take the best of care of your sister. I won't let anything happen to her," except, of course, Ezeoha's hormonally drived interactions with Tia. So, he was lying just a little bit to the other lion... but really, no harm would really happen. It was just going to be a bit of harmless... fun. "You're welcome, Eztil." With that said, he nodded to Tia and began to lead the way deeper into the Pridelands... to show her the lands and well, to show her himself.

"I'll see you later Eztil!" Tia called briefly a goodbye to her "brother" before turning to head out after Ezeoha. She was trusting Eztil to take care of everything properly...if not she was sure to set him straight when she got back. She loped quickly to catch up with Ezeoha, continuing her act. She was going to have to keep it up for a good while yet, she could tell. Poor fool. "Where are we going first?" she asked sweetly, batting her eyelashes at him.

Eztil himself went loping over a hill, and then he doubled back, giving Tia, what he seriously hoped, would be enough time to get the other male lion out of the way. Not that it would matter, if she hadn't. He could easily say he had been turned around, or forgotten to tell his 'sister' something. And if that didn't work, the other lion had said he had no fighting experience. It would be easy enough to kill him and still have dinner. And it was the dinner that he was especially looking forward too.

Ezeoha wasn't one who was going to be sticking around for too long, just in case Eztil wanted to find Tia earlier than planned and come in at the most inopportune of times. So, Ezeoha set off at a steady, but semi-fast pace to a more remote part of the Pridelands where Eztil would be unable to find them even if he wanted to. All the while he made sure to keep at Tia's side, simply so she could notice the warmth of his body and the peak of fitness that it was in. He wanted her to be pleased with his appearance and, of course, his personality. If he could get her to fall for him... even if just for a few hours, this whole venture would have been worth it. He wouldn't even mind if they went their separate ways in the end. He had been too long without female company. This was a much needed vacation for him, some time away from his family and some time with a pretty lady.
"I was thinking a waterhole that is nearby, just in case you're thirsty. There's a lot of vegetation and gorgeous flowers there. Since we're at the top of the food chain, it's unlikely that we'll get bothered." Which, of course, was what Ezeoha wanted. He wanted some alone time with Tia without any interruptions. Even one interruption, one distraction could end up in him not getting his goal. The goal was one that he was definitely unwilling to not achieve.

Tia stayed close to him, pretending to sneak admiring glances at Ezeoha. Inwardly she was rolling her eyes. He was so easy to manipulate. When he had been suspicious at first she had thought it might result in a challenge. But men were all the same. Their brains were between their legs. It made things all to easy.
"Ohh really?" she murmured, pretending to sound absolutely fascinated. Her eyes flashed on the surface with excitement, but in their depths was the swirling constant of mischief. Obviously Ezeoha wasn't so keen on catching it or he would have seen it ages ago. How blind he was.

Eztil didn't make a sound as he noiselessly moved around Tia's new friend's kill. He slowly took it apart and moved it, hiding it so that no scavangers would get their hands on it. He moved back and forth, slowly and surely, getting every scrap of it, and leaving very little trail as he crossed a small river to hide his scent. The last thing he wanted was to be found during... dinner.
