Favorite musical for me would have to be Rocky Horror Picture Show, too. The music is fantastic. The best one I've seen at my school was The Wiz.

My favorite is Les Miserables, by far. I've been listening to it since I was 4, seen it 3 times. I would LOVE to be in it one day, but I'm a soprano and my favorite character is Epponine.
I love Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and Rent too.
The only "musical" I've ever been in is Pirates of Penzance (actually an operetta, but y'know...), which is quite fun.

My favorites are The Music Man, The Sound of Music, Hairspray, and Beauty and the Beast.
Currently I'm playing clarinet and bass clarinet in my school's production of BatB, and when I was in 7th grade I played Amaryllis in The Music Man.

I'm caught between Chicago and Phantom of the Opera. I really want to see Les Miserables, though. I listened to a version of "Bring Him Home" and it made me cry.

My all time favorite is definitely You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. That was the last musical with our old music director, and now we have an annoying b*****d idiot directing the musicals...

My school is doing a production of By Bye Birdie. I'm not playing in the orchastra though, because I'm in the play lol.
I play Alice... Not a very big role, but I have a few lines and lots of songs to sing in =D
The play is only a couple weeks away too. I'm soo pumped!

That's a hard one for me. Let's see.... Here's a list, no particular order but the top musicals that I like
South Pacific Fiddler on the Roof Wicked Carusel Little Prince Annie Get Your Gun Sound of Music Flower Drum Song Les Miserables Phantom of the Opera Guys and Dolls
That's just to start. I'm a total Broadway fan, but I especially enjoy anything by Rogers and Hammerstein or Andrew Lloyd Webber.

My favorite one being in the orchestra for was Fiddler On the Roof (so far) The music's interesting (since its got that more Eastern feel to it) and our set up was in the actual roof of the set instead of down in front of the stage. It was pretty cool. ...though it was kinda harder to get cues down at first
Favorite I haven't done yet...
Phantom of the Opera...brilliant orchestral music in that, it'll be sad if we do it without a good string section though...

i haven't got the chance to do musicals in our school yet. you have to be in between 9th and 12th grade and i'm in 8th grade.
but at our school so far, we've done a lot. two years ago we did the music man, a year ago we did beauty and the beast, and the recent musical we just finished was anything goes. in the past, we've also done west side story, bye bye birdie, your a good man charlie brown, and little shop of horrors.
there was a rumor that they were doing les miserables, which i hope we do. i'll only be able to do stage crew for this year, but stage crew is fun.
i really want to do sweeney todd, but my choir director that does the musicals hates it but he might want to do it this year. i also want to do wicked, phantom of the opera, west side story, south pacific, and gypsy.
but then again, phantom of the opera would be mega expensive. the sad thing is we could never do rent because it's too inappropriate for our school.
