Lilian sighed, laying down on the soft grass, never missing a beat in her song. Though she couldn't feel it, she knew if felt good to humans. She looked up to hear a loud honking, then soft footsteps. She sat up, staring at the woman running by. Bored to tears, she decided to follow her, floating slowly behind.
"And Im feelin'......Good..." She smiled to herself, humming the tune. She looked over the girl for a moment, sighing to hereslf, then walked on, wondering what she was really doing on Earth. The idiot was gone, most likely under a new name and appearance, yet she as still loking for the real him. If it was even a guy.
Why is the afterlife so hard?

Sophia hummed to herself as she strode towards the store.
"...and I'm feelin'...good..."
The song seemed unfamiliar though, and gave her a moment of confused introspection as to it's origin. Then she shook her head. Must have picked it up on the radio or something. Swerving her direction to that of the automatic doors of the corner store, she shivered slightly as she moved from cool spring air into climate controlled warmth. With the gestures of long habit, she grabbed a basket, nodded in greeting to the overly-pierced, bored looking teenager behind the counter, and headed down the aisles to pluck out the things she needed.

"I will not fail", Sky said as he walked back out of the Golden Gates after he finished talking with God. He did not really like how this was going but if he must, he must. He walked to the edge of the clouds and searched the horizon. Turning his back to the egde and looking straight forward at the Golden Gates of Heaven, he stretched out his black wings to their extent as well as his arms outstretched horizontally. He closed his blue aquamarine eyes slowly and whispered, "Time to fall to Earth." And with that, he fell back into the cloudy abyss.

Zach yawned, standing up. The dark house always creeped him out at night, and it was getting dark. He stood, grabbing his guitar case, and walked to the door. As soon as he stepped out into the cool air, he smiled. He never liked warmth that much, and being outside was another thing he enjoy. Humming to himself, he walked to the back of the abandoned house revealing a large back yard stretching for about a mile each way. Luckly, the house wasn't that close to town, so no one ever noticed him in the backyard. He sat next to the small lake, and leaned back, laying on the soft grass.

Lili stared at the girl she was following. A store? She shook her head, but followed the girl in, searching for a farmiliar face.

She walked around the house, she saw a boy laying in the grass, "Umm, alittle help?"

Bing-bong.
The door pinged annoyingly when she moved outside, arms full with two brown paper bags of produce and canned goods. Tomatoes had been 30 cents a pound, and there'd been chicken broth on clearance, so it would be soup for dinner. Sophia resisted the urge to wince at the fact she'd had to count out exact change from her wallet, not because she wanted to, but because she was forced to stretch every penny till it screamed. Perhaps Laurie might be willing to let her work more shifts, if she could convince Papa to let the neighbor look in on him during the day...
"s**t."
The soft curse was directed at nothing in particular, and she was too tired to put much feeling behind it anyway. Only too aware of her already aching muscles protesting as she lugged the heavy groceries across the busy street, Sophia ignored them and strode purposefully towards a rusted-blue pick-up. Dumping the bags up front on the passengers side, she slammed the door shut; slamming doors was as much habit as a way to vent her frustration. The blond stretched wearily as she walked around the front of the truck, digging in her pockets and muttering to herself.
"Where the hell are my keys...?"

Sky was lying about three yards away from Sophia Nikolayev on the black pavement of the road. His left arm was outstretched in front of him and his right arm was bent at the elbow where his face was hidden from view. Slowly opening is eyes, he blinked a couple of times as he stared at his right arm. It was a full blurr as he moved his head to the left. He then closed his eyes back in exaustion.

Movement from the corner of her eye had her glancing over as she moved to open the driver's side door. To her astonishment, she realized it was a man lying stark naked on the sidewalk. His movements were sluggish, and he looked as though he might be injured. Falling back on her field training, Sophia moved forward, removing her jacket as she closed the distance between them. Laying the jacket over his hips, she knelt by his head and spoke in clear tones.
"My name is Sophia. Can you hear me?"
Her hands automatically went to his throat to check for his pulse. It beat strong an steady, which gave her some feelings of relief. His breathing also seemed normal. Perhaps he wasn't hurt after all. She spoke again in her accented English, wondering what the hell this guy was doing here and hoping he understood her.
"I want you to lie still and tell me your name. Can you do that for me?"

Zach's eyes flew open and he turned to stare at the girl. No one knew he was out here. He immediately turned around, noticing she was clotheless.
"Who the hell are you?" He wondered aloud, turning back around, and looking at her face. "And what are you doing here?" He was confused now.

Sky opened his eyes and then looked up at Sophia. His aquamarine eyes looked into her eyes. His eyes were not normal. They looked as if the whole universe was in them. He knew this was the person's soul he had to protect. "Sophia Nikolayev." he said in a voice that seemed to echo in hymns around her. He had a content face but there was something about those eyes that emitted an aura of calmness, caring, and safeness.

Lili was content no one could see her. She stared at the man again, then knelt near him.
What was he doing there? She'd find out soon.

"That's right. That's...that's my name."
The shakiness in her own voice troubled her. But he knew her last name, and she didn't recall giving it. No, she must have given it. When he said it though...the way he said it... Sophia closed her eyes so that she might not have to look into his. For a moment, she'd seen things that couldn't be there. God help me. I think I must be losing my mind. In a small voice that lacked the usual confidence normally present in her tone, she asked another question.
"Are you ok?"
