The female closed her eyes as her own fur was patted at, looking back to the ground to see it sprinkled with small thorns like a bunch of needles. Now all they had on them was dirt, but that was of no harm.
"A walk?" That sounded fine, but she wondered where they may want to head to. The mention of the woods had her peeking in that direction, seeing the treeline not too far off. "Oh yes, that would be nice." Just something to help calm nerves and stretch their legs. She jumped to her feet jitterly, already trotting for the woods.

Yves nodded reassuringly to her as she questioned him, still smiling lightly. As she jumped up to head for the woods, he followed, lifting himself and trotting up alongside her. His tail flicked a bit as he went, small puffs of dust coming from it as he did so.
"Where do you want to go?" he asked, eyes looking ahead towards the forest and the few hills that rose out of it. He had wanted to go and take a bath, maybe jump into a river or something, but he knew better then to drag Zaha along with him right after she had seen that ulaya. "We could go find some place that's higher up and look out from it, or we could just go find a meadow and take a nap..." he trailed off somewhat lazily as they reached the tree line, their footsteps dampened by the dead leaves upon the ground.
"A nap sounds nice," he concluded, nodding. He slowed to a walk, eyes gazing over the forest, watching a leaf fall from a tree every now and then. He smiled broadly. "What do you think?"

"Are you...farting?" Zaha giggled to her own statement, knowing it was only sand from Yves' tail. But she couldn't help it. Ears flicked randomly as she considered his question, glancing around. "We're going to the woods, right?" Now she was confused. Dx The glowy female pounced toward the black Ulaya with a smile. "Nap? Relax? You really are more feline than canine, huh Yves?"

Yves laughed lightly. "Of course not," he replied, grinning. "And yea... the woods seemed like a good idea to me." His ears swiveled a bit as she spoke again, suddenly caught off guard by her movement towards him. Relaxing his muscles, he fell lazily to the ground, rolling up on his back for, large paws playfully batting at the ulaya's shoulders.
"And if I am?" he replied, laughing, "What're you going to do about it, hmm?" A broad grin came from him again as his lips pulled back from his teeth, tail wriggling incessantly beneath him.

What's this? He was just giving up so easily? Zaha canted her head as she tip-toed around the other, pawing at his tuffs as she went. And what if he was feline? Small tail waggled in a flickering glow as she smiled to him. "I guess it doesn't matter. Nothing I can do about it." Eyes brightened to an idea. "Oh, and what am I? Tell me, tell me!"

Yves' ears flicked a bit, his large paw reaching up again to playfully push against Zaha's shoulder as she circled him. He smiled softly at her response, ears turning to listen to her question.
"You?" he asked, craning his neck against the ground. Feline or canine? He honestly wasn't quite sure as to which one she was. "Well, you're a good friend, like a canine, but you're affectionate like a feline..." His eyes watched her curious for a moment as he thought. "I'd say... you're neither, but you're both. You're... you." He grinned broadly at her, the expression slightly lopsided on his face.
