I laughed nonstop when I saw Versus by ryuhei kitamura.
Really funny movie about some yakuzas that go out in the woods and fight. oh and there's zombies everywhere xD

I have to say Totoro and Spirited Away...

Everything by Hayo Miyazaki is amazing. These include Spirited Away, Howels Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro (a personal favorite), Princess Mononoke, Laputa Castle in the Sky, and Ponyo, which just came out recently. These are definitely some of my favorite movies of all time, but some of them are definately somewhat childish, particularly Totoro and Ponyo.

I'm only just starting to engage myself knee deep in Japanese films and I've got at least 20 in my Netflix queue so I'll put some more up later.
