The vampire skin bugs me sooo bad. x[ I hate the chin, the mouth, the body, everything. But i keep it. Because one day [hopefully] that link will be gone, and the vampires will be special like the Grombies. 3nodding

It would be nice if they made other options with the skins, like eye clour and have like the vampire fangs a seperate item.
As for the grombie skin being retired.. It is a little unfair on newbies to Gaia if they want to have the skin.

Yeah, but you have to think sensibly, too, right? I mean, if you keep thinking along that road, that means that Gaia would have to give all the items from past events to newbies, just because they weren't there to get the items when the event was happening. I know that seems a little drastic but it runs along the same line.
It's kind of like, with the vampire skin, at first people were working so hard to become vampires. I know, it took me three hours to get changed. And then they went and made it so easy. It made me mad. Yes, it was fair to the people who hadn't been changed - but it wasn't fair to the people who had worked hard to be changed.
That same kind of idea happens with the grombie skins. There are two sides to every fairness, after all...

Link disappear, yes. Stuck forever, no. You can always delete your avi and make a new one. And ideally the vampires would have some sort of cure like the Grombies. [red vial, perhaps?]

The odds are good that the link will one day vanish. The alien skin remains a choice only because of the Zurg Energy Drink and the Red Bino Drink, and those were introduced during the event. There was no such thing introduced during the vampire event, and indeed, I seem to recall an announcement stating that the vampire skin would not be permanent. Yes, here it is:
Cindy Donovinh The battle between humans and vampires has come to a close. With Vladimir Von Helson dead, an uneasy peace has been established. Can vampires coexist with the general population? Only time will tell. Don't worry, you're not stuck with a vampire avatar! Even though the bloody festivities are at an end, you can still visit the Secret Underground Lab to change back into human form, or the Von Helson Manor to turn into a vampire. This option might not be available forever, so take advantage while you can.
I'm not sure a Red Vial would be made available, since the Green Vial was made available during the Grombie event [I still have mine for no particular reason. xD] Chances are, if you were a vampire after the links stopped functioning, you would simply delete your avatar and re-make it to become a human.
I made all of my mules vampires. xD Just in case. Not my main, though. I don't care for the look of it, and my main is [obviously] the account I use the most.
