RazaDon -Konfuzled Zebra- RazaDon -Konfuzled Zebra- Lol, I knew you were going to say that... wuts epic fail?? Really bad. ey krego unlike u i make threads that r uneducational that dont require sum1 to write a full answer of their opinion on an informative motif I would be more offended if I only made threads that were educational and required someone to write a full answer of their opinion on an informative motif. I would also be more offended if you didn't make yourself sound retarded in almost every single post.

He does sort of have a point, sort of. Krego, you scare me sometimes. Maybe it's just that you make me feel stupid, which I guess I should get used to, seeing as I'm planning to move to this school that has a 100% pass rate for GCSE.
But other than that, please listen to buni. Please.

heres an essay i did:Frederick Douglass was a great writer for his time, as was Walt Whitman. Although they were writers of the same time, they are most certainly not of the same culture, the same history, and, most importantly, the same race. Because of these personal differences between the two, many aspects of their writing, particularly the tone and imagery, have shown to be dissimilar as well and, in fact, in sharp contrast. In Whitman’s poem, “I Hear America Singing,” he speaks of his pride for the American people. He speaks of his the many trades that men work in; “the carpenter singing his [song] as he measures his plank or beam, the mason singing his as he makes ready for work, or leaves off work, the boatman singing what belongs to him in his boat, the deckhand singing on the steamboat deck…” Whitman continues to speak of this concept and all its beauty in a very exalted and glorious fashion, wittingly describing the workers’ occupations under utopian circumstances; he uses imagery to fabricate these perfect situations for the purpose of conveying his pride for his country. To express that pride to an even deeper extent, Whitman takes on a distinctly happy glorified tone. However, as beautiful and spectacular as this idea of self-pride among each other is, it’s an notion that did lack one major factor when Whitman based his poem on it. This factor is well-iterated in Douglass’s autobiography; the slaves of America, or even those that were subject to segregation, did not sing these proud songs that Whitman glorifies so. Douglass being one of these men himself at one point, he knows the terror and the dehumanizing affects of slavery, and although his experiences were much worse and more trying, Douglass could relate in a sense to Langston Hughes. In Hughes poem, “I, Too, Sing America,” he takes on a tone and conveys an image that both provide a sharp response to Whitman’s tone and imagery. Indeed, when Hughes says lines such as “They’ll see how beautiful I am, and be ashamed,” the tone is very proud, however, there is still a significant difference between that pride and the pride in Whitman’s piece. Hughes has a somewhat vengeful pride that has spawned from the oppression that he experienced during segregation, and what his ancestors experienced during slavery. He uses this vengeance to allow his readers to empathize with the pain that racism caused him. Hughes’s imagery also stands to differ from Whitman’s, in that it is more interpretational; the “beauty of the black man” can be envisioned or taken in many different ways. Now u know im 2 smart fo yo dumb a** threads

Thats probably why you have this strange idea that I only post in 'educational' threads. Every time you see a post of mind some strange part of your brain tells you I am being serious, and trying to act educated. You completely miss practically every joke I make. Second...I did not say you were stupid or uneducated. I said you make yourself sound retarded. This is because almost every post you make is completely pointless, AND you say things like 'dis is almost da pimpest u can get' and 'fo yo dumb a**'. I really don't care if you can write an essay. I don't care if you have a 4.0 grade average. If you walk around acting like an idiot all the time, then your grades don't really matter. Your biggest problem is that you think too much of yourself. Every time I say something to you or about you that might possibly be interpreted as offensive you automatically assume that I was in fact trying to be offensive, and you immediately make a counter-post to tell me I am wrong. Where did you get the idea that I cared if you were educated or not? I never judge people on their 'education'. The way you talk in your posts is clearly done by choice, and not because you are uneducated. And I do in fact know some well educated retarded people, so don't assume that retarded and uneducated are the same thing. -Konfuzled Zebra-...I apologize if I ever make you feel stupid. I don't think you are stupid, and would never make you feel that way on purpose.

Krego, You are so right about grades. I'm classed as G&T for crying out loud. Well, maybe I'm gifted and talented at messing around. People automatically assume you're smart when you have good grades, but it's just not true. A lot of smart people don't do well in tests. (Wow, I am so bad at changing the subject!)
