I could never date amyone in my section (for one there's only one guy) because I'm way too competitive (that's why I'm in marching band!). However, I am dating a trombone player (I'm a clarinet). He's awesome even though we do kinda argue over which section is better. xd

Well, i kinda liked a guy in my section once, since we sat right next to each other. But nothing happened. That could have been my fault though...
During practice one day, our conductor was telling the trumpets how to play something, and while he was preoccupied, the clarinet sitting next to me turns to me and says "I like you". And ofcourse, since I'm an idiot when it comes to confessions, I didn't respond - it may also have something to do with my hearing, since everyone was talking over him - so practice continues and it isn't until I'm in the car that I realise what he told me....
Then he left band a few months later. Yeah, I'm hopeless.

well imma bari sax, so usually theres noone else in my section, but i dated a bass clarinet who sat in front of me, we broke up later, my fault, but now we are really good friends, and now she wants to be friends with benefits razz

another trumpet player asked me out, but i said no. i've dated a trombone player before, he was really nice but now i regret it cause i see him alot. besides, SAXOPHONE PLAYERS ARE HOT!!!!!!!!!

Nah; all they guys in the trumpet section are kinda blech
BUT
I do date the percussion co-section leader / tenor player
We've been together over a year now; people say we're cute

In my freshman year, there was one guy in my section and he was a pigheaded jerk. He was full of himself. But considering all my section is girls, no. I did, however date a fello clarinet in middle school. I was older than him though and when I graduated we had to break up cause I would be in highschool and he was moving anyway.
But now I'm dating a trumpet that graduated this past year and I'm like way better than him and he hates it. I can play all his parts when he can barely play it well. But I love him anyways 3nodding
