Jaddis looked at the heavy set female and shook his head. "It is the only gift I can give earth mother." he whispered, his head turning to look over her shoulder those stoney grey eyes. "I'm afraid it is time for me to part ways with you earth mother." He turned his head and touched her cheek with his nose. "be safe child of the womb."
With that said the shadowey figure took a step away. The cries rang in his ears as always, he could not let them continue any longer and although this meeting had been pleasent for the ragged male his job called for him to continue onwards.

"T-thank you, dear Jaddis, may the world be kind to you, and at the same time may you continue your mission," she was about to press her face to his and then he pulled away. She wanted to heal his wounds but lacked the ability, wanted to make it better but understood his suffering. She hitched a sob at the sudden departure, certain that he must feel a magnetic pull like she did when a part of her domain called to her.
"I hope to see you again, maybe next time we will have a better story to tell, may we meet again," she bowed her head still choking through hitching sobs, she would sit and wait for him to wander away before continuing on her own way towards to swamps, a land she knew little of, but one she was sure would be perfect for her purpose. She nodded and pulled herself together the best she could, her face smeared with tears, it would due her well that she knew one of her feathers, a piece of herself traveled with her friend. She presumed he needed a physical reminder that there were those that cared for him, she saw him older like a father figure, like she saw Mtima as her mother--or older sister.

The ragged bone thin god did not turn his head as he padded onwards in to the far distance. The wind ruffled his mane though he did not feel it, his bones creaked the joints wearing against each other and finally he once again took a breath. The image of a creature half dead but living.
He let his mind wander to Boma and where she would go, what she would do with the child rolling in her belly and how she would get there. He sent a silent wish upon the breeze to her as he vanished over the horizon. He was being called and he could not stop to think of anything else. Though eprhaps later he would contemplate the young female and hope to meet her again some day upon the savannah.
