Ace Paladin Ace Paladin Viking, get ready to be even nerdy-er. ; DX VIKING REPLY TO THIS NOW. There's a difference between an endorsement drink (Gamerfuel, this RE drink) and a drink that is being marketed to a specific group. This WoW based energy drink is not part of an endorsement, it's a independent move that a company is making in order to capitalize on the massive WoW community.

I was mainly showing you the existence of the T-Virus drink.... not the article/its opinion.
I was gonna link to AnimeCastle, but they don't sell the drink anymore.

Part-Time Viking Ace Paladin Part-Time Viking Ace Paladin Canis Lupus the LoneWolf Still...heard energy drinks cause suicidal thoughts.... ROFL. Untrue.
They just aggravate people's systems.... i.e. headaches, higher blood pressure, etc.
I'm not as bad as Wak when it comes to caffeine... I can handle teas, coffee, etc. I just don't really like energy drinks. I think it's because I drank one when I was younger and got a hardcore migraine. D:That'd actually make a lot of sense, I drink a lot of energy drinks, and the current state of things in my life have had me thinking about said unsavory thoughts. Eh. I'm one to look beyond an assumed culprit and look for a different element. I had a lot of information on analytical research for my psych class last semester. D:
Without caffeine drinks, you'd still be in the same position/moment in your life going through the same problems/drama/s**t. As true as that may be, one cannot rule out diet at all. What people put into their bodies can actually have a rather profound effect on the individuals state of mind. Well, people can actually get a "Caffeine addiction" and when they don't have caffeine in them they lose the "high" they have and can feel more tired and run down than before they drank it. I know people who actually get the shakes and get headaches if they don't have a cup of coffee in the morning. People drink energy drinks to get and maintain a high energy level and when it leaves their system their energy level drops lower than normal and you feel run down. There are articles about this sort of thing.

But yeah, I agree, you're putting the substance into your body, it'd be stupid to think that it doesn't have an affect on it.

Part-Time Viking But yeah, I agree, you're putting the substance into your body, it'd be stupid to think that it doesn't have an affect on it. Everything you put in your body has an affect on it. I just don't think caffeine gives people suicidal thoughts.
Look beyond the assumed. You have a lot of drama/s**t going on in your life right now.
Look beyond the obvious. You admit to having some form of a bipolar disorder.
I've heard more suicidal (Or, as you put it "unsavory") thoughts spawned from stress/problems and a mental illness than drinking some coffee and eating some chocolate.

I've heard more suicidal (Or, as you put it "unsavory") thoughts spawned from stress/problems and a mental illness than drinking some coffee and eating some chocolate.I theorize that I have some form of bipolar disorder, it would certainly explain my often random emotions. But I have not been clinically tested for it so at this point I'm just throwing down what I think is going on. As for the s**t going on in my life, it's not enough to make me want to pull a Kurt Cobain and blow my top off, and frankly, things seem to intensify depending on what's in my system. I tend to feel better if I drink a Naked or something of the sort, however I feel worse if I drink a Pepsi or something that is generally not healthy. Of course the unhealthy items are more readily available because there is no convenient store by my place of employment, so I get to go off of what's on our shelves, and what's around it which is a Panda Express, a Del Taco, and a Rumbi Island Grill. There can easily be a connection between an energy drink and suicidal thoughts, because there are chemicals put into those drinks. Just like how some anti-depressants can actually mess with the persons hormones and make things worse. While the chemicals might not be the same, they certainly are supposed to have the same effect. Video games and Charles Manson being connected is a leap, but Red Bull ******** with someones emotions not so much, what astounds me is how completely unstudied these things are. Read the side of some of the chemicals that are in these, while generally safe for consumption so are those anti-depressants, but they can still mess with you.
