With a gentle smile on her features, Kirjava could feel her maternal instincts kick in slightly. It definitely helped her to feel a bond with Jini. Her tail flicked slightly as ears flicked forward, picking up on the emotions that Jini was displaying through her voice. With a soft purr, she didn't want to let anymore tears shed but she didn't think anymore could come out even if she had tried to. "You're very welcome. You look so much like your mother, had I not taken a second glance I would have mistaken you for her."
Her crimson eyes looked over the female once more, she would have to visit Jini in her homelands, she would have to make sure of it. "I will come and see you again, Jini." She nudged the female gently, "But don't let me take any more of your time away when you have something you must do. Until we meet again, please take care!"

She looked like her mother? She was filled with pride, with joy and again she remembered those words. Kiburi lived within her. So long as she kept her in mind and heart, Kiburi would never die.
"Thank you Kirjava..." Her voice was thick with emotion. She hesitated, not wanting to turn, afraid that if she pulled her eyes away this thread that connected her to her mother would be severed. She'd found joy again in Kirjava's presence, she had found a piece of the puzzle left behind in her mother's abcense.
"And thank you...thank you for making mother happy." She turned, and fled, running with the sheer fright that if she didn't she may never leave the elder girl's side.
And when she was far enough away she raised her head, roared, roared until her lungs burned and she could barely breathe.
