I'm the only female horn player in a section of eight... ^_-
and don't i love it!
Next year we're getting two girls in our marching section though... *sigh*

I'm the only female baritone player in the whole school...but I don't mind much, since the guys either avoid me or treat me normally.
I also play trombone and tuba. (as far as brass is concerned)

yeah. you know everyone kinda seems to think that trombone is a guys instrument, yet at least in my area all the girl trombones always kick the guys' butts. xd

I'm a girl! and I play french horn! It's funny because in our grade (8th) there are three french horns, all girls. Then inn 7th grade there are three french horn players also, but all boys.

um of course all though the girls dont dominate the brass in my school we are the best and are always taking the highest chairs and are the ones that make the audition only bands

Sorry to say but that was somewhat of a dumb question to ask... it kinda seemed like guy brass players dominate girl brass players (in which, they don't).

im a baritone player 2 in brass (unless you ppls count keyboard which a girl plays on tube noise) 1 tube girl in 6th grade band (my band)1 girl in 7th who plays tuba and 2 baritones that i know of me girl and some oter boy in my grade and 2 boy trombone players (both boys)

heh. a better question would be if youre a guy woodwind player. there are only two -one being my amazing bf...- in my school not counting the lower saxes -two guy baris and one tenor- but yeah. i play mello and trumpet. one of my bffs is first trombone, and our horn section is all girls... i LOVE playing brass. woodwinds tend to be annoying eek .

i am a pretty good girl trumpet player!
right now the top our trumpets are male but
soon i will make it for i am number five in
our section. I matter of fact i think the last first
trumpet girl was 4 years ago. so yeah..i am so going to
be up there this coming year!

Female Tuba player here, heck yes.
Along with the two other girl tuba players at our school. We also have a good number of girl trumpets. I don't know of any trombonists, though.

French Horn
4/5ths of my section is girls.
but we're all pretty darn good. My best friend is first horn right above me and she's going to state solo and ensemble.
I'm second horn, and our whole band is leaving for europe in like45 days or something like that
I'M SO EXCITED!!
