Harmony could see he wanted her to go, but she wannt going anywhere. She wrote on her paper "Im not leaving that easily, Im worried about you. I can tell something is bothering you...and I understand if you don't wish to discuss it, but its not good to keep things bottled up forever"

Carden's lip puckered like an involuntary twitch. "That's nice," he said and he walked away, leaving Harmony, his digust leaving a aste like bile on his tongue.

Harmony frowned. What had she done wrong? Caring was like an insult to him. Something was definetly bothering him. She shrugged and began walking back to Dream Valley.

Carden rubbed his teeth togather as he approached the spot where Harmony's herd stayed. He grumbled. It wasn't his fault... She was just... creepy.
She just wanted to help you, came the memory of Muse's voice.
But she was all clingy... and scary...
Just because you're too stunted to recognise affection doesn't mean she is.
Fine. I'm here aren't I? Leave me alone...

Harmony sat by herself staring at a small white flower that she'd picked. It was just so peaceful in that part of the valley. Suddenly someone tapped her on the shoulder making her jump. She looked up to see Yoshi standing beside her. Smiling at him she gave him a look that said "Hmm? You need me for something?"
Yoshi looked annoyed "Theres a strange male pony nearby, he looks like a zombie or mummy or something...I dunno, I just figured Id ought to tell a responsible adult, before I go yell at him to shove off"
Harmony realised who it must be imediately and jumped up, rushing over to the entrance of their little home area. She saw Carden and smiled but decided to not run over to him, and insted, to wait for him to speak first.

Carden sucked his lips. "Hi. You know. How I left last time. That was rude. And. I shouldn't have. I didn't mean to offend you. You just... you're very... intense with your... love..." He said softly and brokenly. He sighed.

Harmony was so happy to hear that he wasnt mad at her and she wore a sweet little smile. She wanted nothing more then to jump on him and give him a huge hug, but she restrained herself and nodded understandingly, still smiling.

Harmony looked so happy that Carden felt a tiny glimmer of pride in himself. He did that. He made her happy. He smiled slowly. "So... do you want to go for a walk?" he asked. He wanted to see her more- so he could see taht smile and know he put it there.

Harmony nodded slowly, in a way that said "Id love to". She couldn't believe how sweet he was being. No guy had ever treated her so kindly before.

Carden nodded and walked a few steps... then he realised he didn'tknow any nice places to go around here. "I'm afraid I don't come to Dream Valley that often... do you have a.... favourite spot?"

Harmony nodded again and starting walking towards to favourite spot, before turning around to see if he was following her and giggling silently.

Carden followed her through the trees, her coloured tresses streaming behind her as his wrapping snagged on the branches.

Harmony lead Carden to a huge field of wild flowers. She smiled brightly and ran out into the field, turning to see if Carden was still with her.

Carden was hard pressed to keep up- the wind and the colours seemed to make Harmony shine with exileration and happiness. With energy. And it just amde him feel out of place. Dead where all else was alive. He sighed. Senka had liked flowers.

Harmony stopped to let Carden catch up. She was grinning from ear to ear, she just couldn't get enough of this place. It always made her feel so free and happy. She knelt down and pick a small flower, before placing it behind her ear. I really hope Carden likes my special field she thought.
