Cat noticed the small girl who had just appeared in the door way, and a she walked closer, her face became more visible. She stopped and stuttered for a moment, before Skaro asked for her name. Cat sighed. Arietta was far to shy to talk so openly to a stranger. The poor girl had a gift for magic, not people. Before Cat could explain to Skaro that Arietta wouldn't talk because she was shy, or tell him her name, the doors swung open faster than she thought possible for such old, large things. They slammed the wall with a great BANG! that made Cat wince. Then she saw the silhouette of an old friend. Cat grinned. Five people. It would be enough.
"I'm sorry? Get what, AA?" She said with somewhat of an evil smirk.
((Yeah Shox! He's back! Great to have you back!))

After the blue-haired boy that had called himself Skaro asked Arietta her name, she froze and tensed. She shot a desperate look at where Cat had been standing, only to find she wasn't there and had moved forward several steps towards her. Cat might not know very much mentally, but she always knew how to deal with people. But before Cat could intervene, there was a huge Bang! from behind Arietta's back. She jumped and whirled around to see an archer with a hawk on his shoulder.
He asked Cat, "Did you get it?"
Cat smirked, and Arietta could only guess that she knew the man. Then she replied in such a way that made her sound smart, even though she didn't know what the man-or rather, AA, as Cat called him-had been talking about.

Legretta couldn't resist the tiniest smile watched the scene play out before her. Skaro asked for her name, and then noticed Arietta walking up to him. She stuttered a bit, and managed to get out a small 'hello' before Skaro asked for her name. Arietta went white, Cat walked forward, and Skaro... Was most likely confused, but she couldn't tell because of the mask he wore. She became alert to a very quiet scuff outside the door. She was looking at the door, and then-as expected-the doors flew open. Cat winced at the noise and Arietta jumped. A boy stepped in. He wore black, had brown hair-Legretta couldn't tell what color his eyes were because he was so far away-and had a hawk on his shoulder. And he had a bow. He and Cat exchanged a few words. She then remembered that she had been asked a question.
"I've been called Legretta." She answered while not looking at Skaro, who she was talking to.
"And she's Arietta." Legretta added quickly.
She continued to stare at the archer. He had black eyes. And they were sharp, well used to quickly focusing at night, day, and on moving targets. His face showed little emotion, something she herself did. How in Meaahn did Cat know him? They had almost nothing in common. AA-that couldn't possibly be his real name. Cat made the most insane nicknames for people.
"And assuming AA isn't your real name" she began,"what is your name?"
((Rugby is the British version of football, for the most part... Yes, one would be quite tired after that, wouldn't they?))

((Okay, Cat has it set up so that I'm controlling the NPCs-like this soldier- Arrietta will be controlling the demons, and Cat will control enemy NPCs. Here's how you tell who's being controlled by one of us: Arrietta- Green text- Monsters. Cat- Brown text- Enemy NPCs. Legretta- Orange text- Normal NPCs.))
The door creaked as the soldier peeked in. There were five of them now, so he had to tell them what they would be doing on their supposed 'journey'. He stepped the rest of the way into the cathedral and began walking towards them. once he was there, he cleared his throat to get their attention.
"Good day to you all." he began, "I'm sure you're aware that the seal that held back the demons has begun to break. You have all been brought here to see it you posses abilities great enough to fight the demons.
"So to start with, you won't be fighting demons. You will do a few tasks for us to test your abilities. Her Imperial Majesty has requested that you clear a forest of some bandits that have been causing trouble for a nearby village. It's about ten miles from here, so if you leave now, you can reach the village by dusk. You are then to proceed into the forest the next morning and get to work. Are there any questions?" ((For some reason, he sounds like a school teacher...))

((boy?! Adun is well over 200 years old, his body has essentially stopped aging and he looks about 40, a veteran of his time. It's good to be back, maybe this time I'll have the time of explain more of Adun and his uniqueness)) Adun, staying silent, walked towards his past friend, Cat, and stopped just outside the circle they had formed. now closer, his bow's unique properties were able to be seen. The most obvious being the lack of a string of any kind for which to launch arrows with. It also seemed to be two layers of material with black balls of pulsing something at the end, emitting a quiet cracking sound that sounded the same as lighting of the silent nights. The shape of the bow was also confusing, carved to look like a bats wing. Aside from the bow, many other unusual things were seen of him. He wore no quiver, but was an archer, and had the scars of a swordsman, but wore no sword. His draw hand, the right had a strange marking drawn onto it. His other hand bore no symbol, but the glove over it contain an elaborate marking sewn in. He was about to raise his voice when he sensed someone coming. The presence was shaking, obviously nervous. "good day" was all he heard before Adun completely ignored him, he had gotten all he needed to know out of the soldier with the first words.
"I can get there in less than one half hour at normal pace" Adun grunted "and her majesty has already seen my work, you do remember the insurgent quelling 10 years ago right?"((If you couldn't tell I'm having fun with him this time, making him well known to most. imagine him as a sage. I'll work on some places if you need them, I've been told I work wonders with scenery.))

((Rugby? Like American Football? Maybe if you let toddlers play! xd ))
Skaro had been sitting in silence for a while now, watching the scene unfold and recognising his old comrade. He only took to his feet when the guard entered the room and only communicating with Adun in the way only he would recognise as him.
"I see you have also gained scars over the decades, Adun," He spoke into Adun's mind as he had used to when they had fought in the past, "Still, at least you can show your face, hey?"
Knowing that no-one else would have heard what Skaro had said to Adun, he got up and walked to the guard as if nothing had occurred between them.
"We work as a group, yes?" Skaro asked the guard, "And what classes do these bandits obtain, thieves for all?"
((I'm looking forward to how the stories of Adun and Blue compare, as you can tell something big has happened in Blue's life so much that he changed class, changed his name and now wears a mask. I can also see that something has happened to Adun also, tis all very interesting.))

Word entered Adun's head I see you have gained scars over the decades, Adun" and the voice was instantly recognized as one of his first allies of this age. His head rose and looked around, finding him in a moment. things happen when you're coming up on your third age of living. we'll talk later, when we have time. He turned back to Cat and said "well did you get it?" He doubted Cat would have failed, she had a connection to the right person for the job. His hawk leapt of Adun's shoulder and flew around the cathedral.
((it shall be, and it's great to be RPing with Blue and Cat again.))

"Oh. That." She said while watching Adun's hawk fly around, realizing what he had been talking about.
Cat went over to one of the nearby bench rows and walked all the way to the far end. She then proceeded to bend down and slip a steel case out from underneath the bench, pulling it out of the shadows that would have kept it safe from even the sharpest eyes. Cat stood up with the case in her hands and walked back to the group.
She held out the case and presented it to Adun. "Here you are, kind sir." She said with a hint of sarcasm.

((How was I supposed to know how old Adun is... Legretta looks to be 35. Nice description though, Shoxaju. Smart ideas to use pics for reference.))
Legretta stood and watched the scene play out before her yet again, but this time there were pieces missing. Cat seemed at first clueless-which wasn't so odd-and then realized something after he asked again-now that was odd. Legretta was further surprised when Cat proceeded to retrieve a metal case. Legretta lost herself in wondering just what had been in the case, why Cat had it, how Cat got it, and why she gave it to the archer. The gears of her mind were turning, processing every bit of information she knew to figure it out.
"You can go however fast you want, it won't change the fact that we won't be doing anything before tomorrow morning." Legretta said coldly, "And if the queen knows, feel free to stay here until we get back. I doubt you'd be missed."

((well I did say man... not boy... thank you though, the bow is one of my favorites))
Adun reached out and took the steel case. He opened it a crack and peered inside. seeing something to his liking, he closed the case and thanked Cat.
"I'll be there when you arrive, but for now I'm moving ahead" He said and turned, his cloak flying out behind him. Adun exited the Cathedral and pulled his hood up, his hawk landing on his shoulder again. Without a sound he vanished, people below later saying that he had sprung into the air and was seemed to be pulled forward by the hawk. In reality, he had solely pushed himself up and forward with bursts of psionic energy, giving him the capability to leap hundreds of meters in a single powered bound. On the way he thought about the contents of the case and was almost glad he had contracted Cat to accomplish it.

"He always did like to show off..." Skaro said to himself, "I prefer to save my tricks 'til a better time,"
Skaro turned back to the guard whom had not answered his question.
"Well?" He asked, "Will you answer me or should I have to pluck the thought straight from your mind?"

((Legretta's gone for most of today... I'll have to do her soldier post)) "You may work in any way you please. Alone, in pairs, or in a large group. It doesn't matter." The messenger said calmly.
"Bandits vary in their abilities... Some are magic users, and still others are warriors, thieves, and knights. However, I can say that no beastmen or Laquri have joined; most likely because of the bad relations between races now days. The bandits aren't common pickpockets. They often raze entire villages to the ground." He said darkly.
"The village you're heading to is called Ensa. It's a decent size, but other villages of the same size have been destroyed by the bandits. Thieves Forest-that's where the bandits are based-is due west of Ensa. Oh, and the leader of the bandits is a man named Macht. If you're able to get rid of him, the group of bandits should disperse. Clear?" He asked to see if there were any more questions.

"Yeah, he does like to showoff." Cat said as she watched him leave.
"Thieves Forest? How ironic that they would make their base there. Or maybe they couldn't come up with a good name for their hide-out and used the forest because it had a good name and-" Cat's words slammed to a halt.
"...Where's Ari?" Cat whirled around, but Arietta was nowhere to be seen. Or found.
"She was here a second ago! Unless..." Cat's eyes widened, "She used her magic to teleport herself once she knew where the village was! Regret! She left us here! Now we gotta go on foot!" Cat wined while grabbing Legretta's shoulders.
((Hey Blue, I just thought of something fun... You're from England, right? Try saying this fast five times: British soldier. For me it ends up coming out British Shoulder. xD))

((Remember Blue was Leader of the (K)night Of Thieves?))
"Ahh I think I've heard of this lot before," Skaro replied, "Although I doubt they would recognise me..."
Skaro looked around, noticed that everyone was starting to leave, thanked the guard and prepared to set off.
"Cat, Regret, I'll see you there," And with that Skaro turned on his heel, covered himself in shadow and sped off in the blink of an eye. Only leaving a trail of dark smoke which could only be seen in a certain light.

((Good day for shopping in the mall. It's so hot out and they always have the air on full blast. Nice and cool in there. Murder getting back into my car after it sat in the sun for a couple hours...))
Legretta twitched. "Cat. Would you mind getting the hell off of me?!" She yelled while detaching the warrior from her shoulders.
"...Didn't take them long to leave... Shadow!" Legretta called. A small spirit appeared and looked up at Legretta.
"We need to get to Ensa. So let's go." She commanded. The spirit did just that, and a wall of shadows came out of Legretta's own and wrapped around her.
"Use your sythe if you want to get there in time." She called just as the shadows completely smothered her. Then the shadows sank back into the floor until they were flat and then shrank until there was no shadow. Legretta was gone.
