Sheng smirked and tossed the two kills upon his back and yawned a little. Not that Ushu was getting boring to talk to, it was just that he was tired or hearing the same thing. Plus, he didn't get much sleep as of late, after the cubs are born... perhaps he might get some.
"Well, I look forward to seeing you again. If not, I guess I can assume you died out of starvation," he let out a laugh before heading off back to Mwana.
"Take care of yourself, Ushu."

Ushu humphed at the parting comment, his ears laying back into his brown mane. Died of starvation... he promised himself that that would never be the way he died, if he did. He was a good hunter, and he was going to prove it to Trigger the next time the two of them crossed paths. Until then, he'd work on bulking up some and cleaning up. He'd have to meet Trigger's lady eventually, and he wanted to look presentable when that happened.
It suddenly occured to him that Trigger had left the third kill with him, but when he looked up to call him back for it, he was already gone. Ushu sighed as he looked at this windfall, then decided he might as well set off on the right paw and began to eat till he was bursting. He'd need energy for his next hunt and to survive this big, hostile rogue world.
