"Oh good ****ing gods, we're so ****ing dead!" Pixie, ever optimistic, picked up one of the shining crystals that had landed beside her in the quake. Her bright white hide was covered in rubble, scrapes and bruises from the sudden rockslide, which she hadn't been quick enough to avoid altogether. Eyeing her alternative, the now thoroughly blocked entrance, she limped over to the blind merdrac. "Lead the way, Aloha-ackie"

Will just stood there after greeting the other female, she was now examining the area around her till her attention was caught by Kedge. She watched the Merdrac for awhile till another painter came in and then another female who was very loud. As the voice in her head wasn't bad enough she had to deal with a female who was loud and crude too.
She was startled out of her thoughts when Alohuaki finally showed up and was now explaining things to them. But when the quake caused the whole place to shiver she ducked down covering her head and closing her eyes. She didn't like this one bit, finally slowly moving up when it had stopped she listened to the female merdrac again. Picking up one of those crystals she talked about, Willa dove into the water with Alohuaki and Kedge, ready to follow Alo.

The rockslide had given Sayuri quite the scare, causing her to let out a rather undignified yelp. She had regained her composure as quickly as she could, listening to the Merdrac’s words obediently up until the point that she mentioned going into the water. Water was a wonderful place for Merdracs – they lived there after all – and the common Painters could spend time in water, but an Aviadracus? Feathery wings did not mix well with water.
Picking up a crystal with lavender claws, she eyed the water warily as she slowly waded in, keeping her wings out of the water for as long as she could.

"Wonderful. Just wonderful." Kedge pulled himself out of the water and slid over the rock to follow the blind female, landing into the water with a splash. He watched as the others warily got into the water, feeling some sort of responsibility for them now that they were all put out of their element and into his.
Noticing Sayuri's apparent distaste and reluctance to get her wings wet he grabbed onto her paw with his own. "Your wings will dry, get in before theres another slide or whatever and I have to drag you guys there... wherever we're going." She yanked at her to try and force her in the water.

Alohuaki splashes the water with her tail with a laugh, "You featherwings underestimate those fluffy wings of yours - they'll dry, and if you want out of here your going to have to get them wet."
Without another warning, she used her entire arm to splash water onto Sayuri before turning to the rest, "Some of you might not realize that, with merdracs guiding you, the pressure of the water will not be as strongand the lack of air will NOT be a problem at all - The bubbles around your nuzzle will disappear slowly, but they are only there so you remember to breath normally and once your used to it there really is no point to the whole deal."
The merdrac waved her paw with a quick flippy motion, signifying she is moving on in subject, "Because of this, we're going to use the caves as a way to escape. Thankfully, swimming is much like flying according to those landwalkers who have used this path before, but its flying tired -- The water is a LOT harder to work through. On the plus side, you'll be stronger fliers for it."
She turns to Kedge with a squeak, chattering slightly as her colors pulsed, much like an octopuses - she had to be a good ton larger and heavier then him from the size difference between the two, "Its a good thing your here, however -- You can help pull the others through the water so we can travel at a distant pace. Now come along! Those who wish to swim with me need to grab ahold of a dorsal fin or two. Mind the sting on the ends - While I'm with holding my poison, it would still hurt to get pricked by it. Thankfully they are large enough to be less likely to hit accidently."

Willa blinked and shook herself as she was in the water now, she glanced over at Kedge and Sayuri, "Come on it'll be ok...once we get through as we follow them, it'll be over soon as you know it." she just hoped she could believe her own words though. She glanced back at Alohuaki again, she guessed it would be best to swim with her since she knew where she was going. She swam over feeling the tough way her wings were moving but she wanted out of there before another quake hit. She grabbed onto one of Alohauki's fins making sure not to go anywhere near the stings.

Sayuri was disgruntled about being splashed unnecessarily, although she kept her face benignly passive. It was not getting wet that she was apprehensive about, no, it was swimming that she was apprehensive about. As Alohuaki-san had so kindly put it, her “fluffy” wings had feathers, and feathers would cause drag in the water. Despite the slow pace at which she swam and the hours of preening her wings later required, Sayuri loved the occasional leisurely swim. However, this swim did not sound like it would be slow or short and it most certainly did not sound like it would be leisurely.
Heaving a mental sigh of resignation, she quickly dipped her head to make sure her ribbon was tied tightly around her tail and that her headpiece was tucked firmly in place. Satisfied for the moment, Sayuri gave Kedge an inscrutable look before diving into the water.

Kedge glared at her. "Oh what did I do?" Rolling his eyes at the rest of them and decided to only watch out for himself, the merdrac dove into the water to follow the blind merdrac.

Willa watched as Kedge went down under the water, wasn't he supposed to help lead them out? For a cute merdrac, he was in a bad mood and had an attitude to match, she thought.
