My mudskippers go nuts over crickets, and my sailfin mollies love boiled salad greens. My killifish will eat ANYTHING.

No, the killies don't eat chocolate, but I'm sure they would try it if I gave it to them. rofl Yes, lettuce and spinach, boiled down into mush. It also helps to mix in some flake food.

Irrlich Thanks for the lettuce. I've heard a lot of people seem to have problems with keeping their Ottos from starving. I've never kept them myself though, so i wouldn't know. Do you breed the brine shrimps yourself? I remember doing that for a while, but it's such a hassle >.< Nope, I cheat and get freeze dried. ><

My goldfish go ape s**t when I approach their tank at feeding time. This has only been happening since this past November when I started feeding them Super Soft Spirulina pellets and Super Soft Krill pellets.
They never get like that over flakes or regular pellets, but for these they go absolutely bananas.
They also really enjoy shelled peas. They probably don't like the one day fast I put them on after I feed those to them though. rofl

I tried giving unshelled peas to my mollies last night... they weren't into it. The male took some interest, but I don't think the females recognized it as food.

I did it for a while, but damn it's such a hassle.
@ Sobbing Starlight; oooh you do the one day fast too? heh, yeah they really hate it huh?
Sometimes i skip it cause i just can't resist their begging. redface

Hmm, i'm changing the layout a bit on the 'Aquatic Quisine' page.
Not even sure why I'm doing it, but, um, does it even look ok with all the color coding? or too messy?

Oh, and my mudskippers also really like frozen bloodworms. They get so exited that they n** my fingers out of anticipation. They also like frozen krill, but take it less enthusiastically.

It's best for me to just completely avoid looking at their tank on fasting days. My Ranchu really knows how to give me the best sad googly fish eyes ever. "Please feed me. My cheeks aren't fat enough yet ; - ;"

haha, you I've seen the teeth on some of them.
Though I've never seen them in real life, only in pictures and movies.
Do they bite?

If someone would have told a few years ago that fish could be so expressive i would have laughed.
Shows how low the quality of life in petshops are, for their eyes to be so empty and dead sad
