Wahabu stood tensely, pitifully.. doing his best to stare her down, trying to will her to deciding that he could be a part of this, even if they could not be together. It broke his heart to see the glazed over look in Intombi's eyes as she stayed silent and still. He tried to wait patiently, though he couldn't help but twitch anxiously as he waited and hoped for her eyes to return to him. The look on her face when she finally did was not the least bit encouraging- and looking away saying she should be going nearly made him jump.
"But- you can't--!" he begged, tense again as she sought out the best exit.

Intombi's eyes started darting around. She desperately needed somewhere to run away to. Or rather, to waddle away to. She needed somewhere to cool off and get happy again, though that wouldn't happen any time soon. More than anything, she needed to have someplace to break down, though she wouldn't do that. She didn't know how to release unhappy thoughts like that. For the first time in her life, she was not only stressed, but in a situation that many a lion would cry in. She didn't even feel like this when she left home.
"I... I'll see you around? Okay? Yeah. I'll see you around." She mumbled a little, nodding her head slowly. She wanted to rush over to him and say good bye more warmly than this, but she didn't have it in her. Slowly, she turned a bit to the side. All of a sudden, she trotted off. It was the fastest pace she could get herself to with her current size, but it was good enough. She hadn't a clue as to where she was going, she just needed to get where ever that place was.

Staring dumbly as Intombi jogged away, Habu could have gone and caught up to her and physically stopped her.. but he was not someone who would, or could, do that to another lion. There wasn't anything left for him to do, just watch her go and lament that he didn't have the heart to even try to force her to see reason..
Shaking a bit from the emotional overload (as well as the sudden releast of his anxieties), collapsed onto the ground to mope.
