Koorie's eyes widened in surprise as she was smacked back, and her head remained turned to the side from the small force of the blow. Hearing his words, she snarled, glaring hate at Ignaas as she stood up.

"FIRST of all, I shall speak my mind, and you can deal with it. SECONDLY, you don't HAVE to be around by me, so go off and do your own thing. FINALLY..." By this point her voice had dropped even lower than before, and her fur was bristled. "You. Touched. Me. First." Her claws had fully extended from her paws, and her tail whipped behind her, her muscles taut. She was ready to pounce and fight at any second.

He had said please to her... He had said please. Granted, he should of also said sorry for slapping her the way he did, for it hadn't been necessary, but he had acted purely on instinct, which he knew he should have. Sighing greatly as Koorie yelled and screamed at him, Ignaas just accepted it all, not really in the mood to yell back at her.

"You're right... I touched you first....", he spoked softly, his icy blue eyes looking away from the enraged princess. "You had every right to smack me... I'm sorry.." His tail completely slid off of her leg, curling up around his back right leg, completely keeping to itself now. "I'll just leave you alone..."

She stood up and turned from Ignaas. "Keep your apologies..." She wanted nothing at all to do with him, and she walked away smoothly her head held high. It wasn't that she was a snob, despite her acting like it, it was just she was so used to being alone, she'd built a highly defensive manor. In truth, deep down, she was terrified of being hurt.

Unfortunantly, that only worked emotionally. Not lifting her paw high enough, she tripped over a rock and fell none too gracefully on her face. 'Hmmph!"

As Ignaas looked up and watched her stomp away, not leaving any kind words behind, the flame prince sighed once more, now feeling even more so like crap. It was like she had just thrown him out with the rest of the trash, not caring a single bit. She really did have an icy heart to match that icy exterior.

Just as the male was about to turn and simply walk off, he heard an odd sound, like that of something hitting the ground rather harshly. Looking back up at where Koorie had stomped off to, he saw that she was not flat on her face, not moving. With icy blue eyes as wide as the moon, Ignaas rushed over to her, forgetting all about what had just happened between the two of them.

"Are you alright?!", he questioned, put his paws around her shoulders to try and pick her up. "Koorie? Koorie?"

"I'm fine..." Koorie muttered, her cheeks flaming in embarrassment under her fur. She forced herself up, shaking him off of her. It was clear that she wasn't 'fine' as she had put it. She couldn't put much weight on her front left paw, or it hurt like nothing else, and she was a bit scrapped up around her front.

Looking away from Ignaas, she readjusted her crown, which had been thrown off into a crooked fashion when she'd tripped.

"Here, let me help you, please." Regardless of whether she said yes or no, Ignaas took the initiative to help Koorie out, not giving her the chance to really respond or retaliate. He used the fluffy bit of his tail to dust off her crown, as it had gotten dirt on it from when she hit the ground. Then, he started to dust her fur off, making it look just as good as it had before, if not better. That's when he noticed how she was standing.

"Your paw. Is it okay? Here, let me take a look at it." He didn't touch her, not after how she blew up at him earlier. No. Instead, he merely squatted now and looked at it. It didn't actually look bad, but the way she was standing on it said otherwise. She seemed to of twisted her ankle... Or something like that.. Which wasn't a good thing. "Don't worry, I won't touch you. I promise."

"I'm fine, I don't need your help." Gritting her teeth, she stood on her injured paw with her full weight, showing him that she was able to stand fine and support her weight. The pain shot through her leg and she had to do everything in her power to not even so much as wince or let up.

She shook her head while his tail was dusting over her, clearly irritated.

This prince wasn't as dumb as this princess may of thought he was, but he decided to play along, just so she would come to fin out that she was hurt and she needed help. That icy exterior would have to melt away soon enough.

"Alright, alright. You're fine. I'll leave you alone then." He got up and backed off some, giving her the space she needed to just chill. He didn't want that ugly repeat of what had already happened, and he was sure that neither did she. "I'm sticking by you though, just in case something like that happens again."

She glared at him and gave a small snap of her jaws. "I'm fine, I don't need your help." Forcing herself to walk without limping, she made her way away from him. She could already feel a headache beginning to form, and it had 'Ignaas' written all over it.

It wasn't a very good idea for her to be walking on her paw with it being potentially sprained, but she had to put up the charade long enough for him to leave her be.

Ignaas merely followed along. He didn't speak, didn't get too close, and sure as hell didn't touch her. He just... Followed. He was like a lost Chinua or something, simply following along, but not being a bother either. Of course, in her case, anything bothered her, so it didn't matter either way. The prince knew something was up with her, but didn't press the issue. She was already mad enough.

After a while, at least that's what it seemed to Koorie and in reality was probably about ten minutes, she found a rather large, flat rock and layed down on it to 'rest'. In reality, she needed to get off of her paw, and this was the best cover up she could find with the male following her around like a lost little kid.

It hadn't been too long since they had started walking that Koorie had found a flat rock and plopped herself down on it. She didn't look tired, but apparently, she need to rest. So, instead of arguing, Ignaas merely did the same, except it was the ground he was lying on. He was being poked and prodded by sticks and little jagged rocks, but he ignored them. He was here for Koorie now, and nothing else.

Looking over to the male as he lay on the ground, Koorie sighed. "Why are you insisting on following me. I've lived alone all my life, I can take care of myself." That was the truth; she'd grown up alone and had to fend and care for herself, why should now be any different?

Ignaas looked up at the beautiful blue female as she spoke to him, frustration set in her voice. She didn't understand why he was following her so, and to be honest, neither did he. He had simply... Wanted to. To him, Koorie was different from any other female he had ever met. He couldn't quite explain why or how, but she just... Was.

"I feel the need to be close to you. Please, don't take that the wrong way. I mean that you... Got hurt back there. I don't want you to get hurt again. If you did and I wasn't around, I'd feel bad, for you could seriously be injured next time." His blue eyes gazed away for a second, shaking as he tried to tell her. He didn't want to be scowled at again... He wanted to tell her why he was really following her... But he.. He just couldn't. "I'm just worried for you is all...."

Koorie watched him silently, her red orbs reflecting no emotions what so ever. "It's nice that you're worried, but it's waisted. And unless you plan on following me around for the rest of my life, which I highly discourage for two reasons, then you can't hope to be there if I DO become seriously injured and need you assistance; also very unlikely to happen...."

In short, she was shooting him down like a tank would to a fighter jet in the middle of a war. She didn't know why she was trying to be some what gentle, at least gentle in her mind, but she was.
