Do you enjoy Wrock?
Sold my Horcrux to Wrock and Rolls of parchment!
  I listen to it often.
I tried it. Listened to one band but found it too indie for my tastes.
Wrock you say? *follows links and has a listen*

PRETTY MUCH THE LONGEST POST EVER, SORRY.

Teh, I was looking for this thread.
Wrock is awesome beyond words. Siriusly.
8D

I wasted Friday downloading a gazillion songs.

The Bandon Banshees

Basilisk (& the Kreachers)

Bella and the Deatheaters

Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Band

The Black Sisters (Black Sistaz)

Chasing Quaffles
Like the Parselmouths, but REALLY GOOD.

The Cheering Charms
"Oh, Tom. What happened to your nose? When you were young, you had one!"

Really sweet lyrics from these guys. ^o^

Chocolate in the Library
Fudge disgraces the name of chocolate.

Crabbe & Goyle
These guys are really funny. xD

Creevy Crisis

The Curse Breakers
Wizard country rock?

They run on eckeltricity.

Fiendfyre
"Know that someone you love could be dead!"

Firewhiskey and Pie

I keep attempting to go through all of those but I don't think I have the time. : O I didn't know wrock was that popular. Pretty amazing, though.

And yeah, electronica is my favourite genre anyway so as soon as I heard of rock I went searching for some wizarding electro. biggrin

Just yesterday I complained that I was bored and had nothing interesting to do, but thanks Katori Kenshin I have a tiny little hunch of what I can spend my afternoons doing. I love Wrock! And before I forget, thank you so much for the links, Kenshin! I think she deserves some House Points for that. *Hint Hint* wink

I went to a Wizard Rock show up here in Michigan. Me, Steffyss, Padfootspet and Katieinthebox went to see, Whomping Willows, Catchlove, Justin Finch Fletcher and Tonks and the Aurors.

Personally my favorite out of all them was Tonks and the Aurors

Go here to listen to tonks. They were all really good live, Her best song is Werewolf love (I'm in love with a werewolf). I personally think these music pages do these people no justice, There amazing live.

My two favorite wizard rock bands and songs are:

Tonks and the Aurors - Werewolf Love

and

Ministry of Magic - Forever Together (MoM is my favorite band of Wrock of all time, I wanna see them live BAD)

Hot from the Owl's claws:
I got this e-mail yesterday from Harry and the Potters:
"Hello Friends,

Just wanted to let you guys know about some upcoming screenings of the documentary film We Are Wizards.

We Are Wizards is a film that profiles some of the interesting people working creatively in the Harry Potter underground. This includes a few wizard rock bands (ourselves, the Hungarian Horntails, Draco and the Malfoys, the Whomping Willows...) as well as our pal Melissa Anelli (the Leaky Cauldron/Pottercast), and our hero, Brad Neely (Wizard People, Dear Reader).

The film recently had its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March and this month is screening at a number of film festivals, including the New York Underground Film Festival (April 5 and cool , the Sarasota Film Festival (April 12 and 13), and the Boston Independent Film Festival (April 24 and 26).

Harry and the Potters will be making a few appearances as part of this festival tour. Paul will be on-hand in NYC for both screenings and Q&As. And then Harry and the Potters will perform following both screenings in Boston. How come no one has told you where you first paragraph inspiration is from?

Its based off the thing Dumbledore said before he explained what the Triwizard Tournament was in Goblet of Fire!
