Shihasu took out a few of her own shuriken and sent them towards Miyuki, aiming at her hands, and began running in a wide arc to determine the girl's range of precision with the chakra strings. The fact that Miyuki was firmly planted in one place told her that she was focusing on her hands, and therefore the projectiles would likely follow her. If she could find a good range, she could come up with a suitable counter attack.

Miyuki blocked the shuriken with the ones she was using with chakra strings, while her other weapons still flew at the girl. She made them follow her as she moved. At least this is good practice for my puppetry skills, Miyuki thought to herself

Seeing the weapons follow her, Shihasu made a decision and began rushing at Miyuki, kunai still held firmly in her hands. It was time to make this a close-quarter fight.

Gaali leaped over the fence and into the training ground- it was a bad habit of his. He never liked going through gates or doors- he would always take a detour through a window or other entry simply because he could. Spying his friend Sano as he landed, Gaali gently sent a wire snaking towards him. It wouldn't work, of course- his goal was to trip Sano up as he performed his taijutsu, but he knew the other Nin would hear the sound of the wire not only unravelling from its holster, but the very sound of it cutting through the air.

Sano continued to practice his taijutsu never seeming to tire of it. His mind didn’t even move to the battle that was going on nearby instead focusing on his own training. His mind quickly snapped out of his personal thoughts as the sound of wire ringed through his head clearly. Sano didn’t hesitate as his body moved with the reflexes taught to him by the master of the Pi Qua Quan style. His body seemed to curve and bend in ways it shouldn’t be able to as he turned to meet the slithering wire and stomped on it to stop it dead in its tracks.
Sano’s eyes moved up to meet Gaali, an almost never existent smirk on his face. To most people Sano was generally cold and untrusting. However, Gaali was one of the select few that Sano had ever opened up to even if it was on a level of being kind to and nothing more. In fact one might think such a relationship was scary for if anything bad ever happened to Gaali gods help those who caused it. Sano stood silently as he waited for Gaali to come near, his eyes rolling back a bit to bring his companion’s attention to the fight behind him.

"Sano, you never cease to amaze." Gaali grinned as he approached the other. To Gaali, he was open, it seemed, but others always remarked about his... "coldness", if you will. Gaali always disagreed- you just needed to get to know him. "I see Shi-chan's fighting again..." He looked over at the two girls, then returned his attention to Sano. "What have you been up to today?"

((Umm.. JJ me and Shihasu have decided to not rp as if our characters haven’t met yet, though feel free to rp as if you know her seeing as you posted already hinting such))
Sano’s smirk didn’t seem to disappear from his face as Gaali made one of his usual casual remarks. Sano raised an eyebrow as a name slipped from Gaali’s lips. Sano turned for a second taking in the sight of the other girl assuming that to be Shi-chan that Gaali spoke of. Sano figured this because he already knew the other girl’s name.
Sano brought his attention back to Gaali as his friend asked him a question. Sano only shrugged as he motioned towards the wooden pole and said, “Just a lot of training. I have mastered a few new jutsus as well as sharpened my taijutsu a bit. However, I believe that there is a lot of work that still needs to be done. I will need to become stronger if I have any hopes to passing the chuunin exams when they come.” Sano then stood firm the smirk on his face disappearing as he thought about how much more he still needed to train. He knew a few D-rank and lower jutsus, but he had nothing better. If he wanted to stand out in the exams he would need jutsus that could challenge those he would go up against.

Miyuki dropped the strings and as the girl game close she pulled out some of her own kunai and put them up against her opponents kunai, so they were both still, sadly however she realized that even though she was still, she didn't have any free hands to perform the jutsu. So still holding onto the kunai she tried making new chakra strings to wrap around the girls hands so she could make her jutsu.

Shihasu smirked, breaking her hands free and tossing one kunai to the side. Using chakra strings of her own, she pulled the hidden wires off her wrist and set about trying to tangle them around Miyuki's ankles, still using one hand to parry kunai blows, planning on aiming at vital points with all her strength when she could find an opening.

((Gotcha biggrin If questioned, I'll just say I saw her name on the class roster. biggrin ))
"An excellent idea." Gaali reeled in his wire from under Sano's foot. "It seems I can't test out of 'Academy Student' status for quite a while yet." He held his hands up in a shrug. "But what can one do?"
He let his arms drop. "Though... I'd like to see these new techniques of yours through my eyes...." He grinned wide. "I think you know what I mean." He slid his right foot back. "What do you say, Sano?"

Sano raised an eyebrow as he remained silent and listened to what Gaali was saying. It did peak his interest a bit when he heard Gaali mention witnessing the jutsu through his eyes. Sano had been around Gaali long enough to know the man’s doujutsu. The doujutsu was a technique that allowed the user to see the chakra trails and other things. The fact that Gaali wanted to see it probably meant that he might want to duel.
Sano began to move slightly back out of range of a sudden attack, it really only took him a few steps. Sano’s face transformed into that of a snarl as he kept staring at Gaali. Sano then said, “If you want to see the jutsus then that is fine. However, just because you are my friend doesn’t mean I am going to be easy on you. Prepare yourself.” Sano then prepared himself for what might be a very intense battle.

Gaali grinned wider in response to Sano's vicious expression. "I'd expect nothing less from you, Sano." His face took on an almost manic atmosphere. "If you came at me with less.... You'd be cut apart!" He ran his hands through his seals to activate his doujutsu- the Kin'iro Art, Kinmei.
A gold blast of chakra surrounded him as his eyes shifted color. The hazel quality of his eyes disappeared to be replaced by a brilliant gold color, made all the more menacing by the fact that his pupils became oblong and narrow, similar to a cat's. Gaali's feral grin suited the eyes well, as new information flooded into his mind. "I can see the remnants of your chakra, Sano..." he said softly. "These techniques look quite interesting, from their residue. Let's see them!" He drew two kunai, one for each hand, and spun them around his index fingers, finally releasing them towards Sano after a second or two of spinning.

Sano’s face almost turned into a replica of Gaali’s, feral. However, Sano had always been excellent at controlling his emotions and his whole body went calm. Not the remarks made to him or the sudden change of Gaali’s eyes had effected. Sano didn’t know much of Gaali’s eyes other then its most base abilities. However, like Sano Gaali knew little of what Sano could do other then his most basic techniques. This was a good learning experience for the both of them.
Sano remained firm as he watched the kunai come towards him. Gaali had given him enough of a warning with their spinning that Sano had suspected the attack. With that in mind Sano easily came up with a strategy for them. Sano tapped into his taijutsu training using his flexibility to bend completely backwards so that the kunai flew right over him. Sano didn’t hesitate as he quickly recovered and ran towards Gaali. Sano wasn’t sure on how the next move would affect Gaali. However, Gaali had never seen him use it before and it would be interesting to see how it would affect those golden eyes. Sano smirked as he yelled, “Multiply!” If the jutsu worked Gaali would see multiple Sanos as would everyone else on looking within ear shot. The jutsu took a bit of chakra, but for the sake of learning it was worth it.

"Heheheheh." Gaali's eyes saw all as Sano "multiplied". Though he saw multiple Sano copies appear before him, the only one that currently had chakra flowing around him was his target. He had to admit, though, had he not been using his eyes, the technique would have confused him utterly.
Feigning a swipe at one of the fake Sanos, Gaali let his wires out from his left hand. The thin steel wires snaked from their claw-like holsters on his index and middle fingers, cutting around to ensnare the true Sano.

Sano smirked as he realized that his clones were ineffective against the doujutsu of Gaali. In fact due to Sano’s charge forward he barely had enough time to react to the sudden incoming wires of Gaali. If it hadn’t been for the sharp sound of the wires quickly cutting direction to attack him he probably would have been easily ensnared. Sano didn’t have much time there were only a few feet separating him and a close range fight with Gaali. Though Sano was positive that Gaali had figured out ways to use his wires even at the closest of distances it was still a better shot then keeping this a long range battle.
Sano allowed the wires to slink a bit closer feigning as if the attack had completely shook him and he was too stunned to even redirect himself and not get trapped by the wires. When the wires were too close to have them perform a hasty retreat Sano performed a few hands seals and whispered, “Yadama Henshin Bakuha (Projectile Deflection Blast).” Sano’s lungs filled with air and with an exhale he expelled the wind mingled with chakra. The combined blast had been done in hopes to repel the wires away from him. Not only that, but since he was already so close the wires would hopefully shoot past Gaali allowing Sano the necessary time to get in close.
Sano did not stop as he made his way before Gaali dropping into a bokuho stance which would allow him free range of Gaali’s body more easily. Sano then made an upward feint for Gaali’s face as if he were attacking those golden eyes instead moving with his left arm to perform a quick strike on Gaali’s leg to hopefully stun it and essentially give him a dead leg for a few minutes.
