"They will all know their father when he calls their name," she said softly, deep blue eyes staring up into her mate's. Then, with a smile, she turned them back upon the baskets laying between them. She hadn't been there for her third basket, the one she had left behind with Eloran. She couldn't say what it was like to not know the foal, but it certainly was nothing she would ever forget. She hadn't even been able to watch the foal grow from afar - she wasn't even sure if she had another son, or perhaps a daughter she had never known. She hoped, in some ways, the new foals would help heal her wounds.

"I don't think you could make me any happier either, ours foals are.. beautiful," she whispered, moving to lean her head against his neck comfortably. They truly were a wonder, these baskets before them. She felt, for once, that perhaps she was doing something right - had done something right. She would finally be able to have the family she had alwyas wanted and never been able to hold on to.

"I think it's time I got some rest, love," she said softly, nuzzling her face against the warmth of Jean-Claude's neck. She gave him a weak smile, moving to lay closer to the baskets, her head relaxing against the earth. It had been a long, hard process birthing the foals and she was just ready to have some hard-earned rest.
