Shippo started bouncing up and down. "Kikiyo! Kikiyo! I think Kagome's coming back! I feel it! I really do! Should we go tell Inuyasha?"

Kagome slowly got up and started walking towards the forest slowly, walking in the direction of the village. She walked up to a tree and looked up, seeing Inuyasha and smiling, "Hey InuYasha..." she said softly, her eyes still had a hidden sadness in them, but she didnt show it.
"I'm back...."

Kikiyo was standing from a distance when she saw Kagome. That little fox demon was right, she thought, Kagome is back...

Inuyasha kept his arms crossed, "its about time you showed up Kagome". He looks up at her, Inuyasha truly missed her, he just didn't want to show it. "We have been fighting off the demons by ourselves...you were not here to help". He then walks forward, "we better get goin".

Kagome nodded slowly, shifting her backpack on her shoulder, "yah...we should..." she said softly, making sure the arrows were secure on her back.
Something tells me he's going to figure it out.... she thought, at first, worried.
She brushed it off and smiled brightly, "Come on....lets go..."

Inuyasha walks off, "you guys comin or what?" He asks as he continues to walk toward a near by village. "We can get food and supplies in that town".

Kagome nodded and walked with them silently, she didn't know if her silence was obvious or not, she just knew that they should keep moving on.
They entered the village and saw some vendors, and some shops. "Hey...I'll be back..I'm going to go get some food and blankets..." She walked over to a vendor, but not before getting some money from Miroku, and buying a couple blankets and a bit of food.

"Odd... Kagome is acting funny" Inuyasha says as she walked off. "She has been quiet the whole time". "You think, shes upset about something?"

Kagome walked back and noticed InuYasha was staring at her, "What?" she asked, somewhat sheepishly, "Why are you staring at me like that?" she could, in a way, sense the concern. She put on a fake smile, "I'm fine! see? happy as ever...."
I wonder....
She thought silently,
Can he see through that smile?

Inuyasha continued to stare at her. He sniffs the air, he could smell that she was upset. "Kagome... whats wrong? Why are you upset?". Inuyasha looks at her with concern in his eyes. "I know something is wrong, I can smell it".
