Kiri smiled warmly back at Charity before taking her focus back to the children. She'd leave it up to Charity to coax Rowan out of his bad mood. Alice was pretty much indestructible but she didn't know about the little boy.

Alice had crouched when Lexi had pushed so was in a good position to push off on her side at his command, shooting herself up and sending Lexi down. This was rather fun, it was strange that only one of them could be up at a time but it was still fun and being down wasn't so bad.

Kiri was a bit worried about the speed at which Alice had dropped Lexi but he didn't seem inclined to complain so she decided to just watch for the moment. If it had been a bad injury surely he would made some type of remark about it and wouldn't be inclined to continue playing. Still if Alice kept that up Kiri would have to step in.

Alice was pleased with the speed she had risen but was a bit worried about Lexi's reaction to being dropped. Being used to reading body language more than listen to people talking she realised that he had probably not enjoyed falling so quickly.

Even if she enjoyed going fast as Lexi rose slowly it was clear to Alice that Lexi enjoyed going slower. Since in her mind a friend's happiness came before her own she decided to go slower so that Lexi would have more fun. She loved going fast but she could also enjoy slow things and could also show restraint when needed.

Pleased to see that she had made him smile she grinned back and her tail wagged a bit. It looked like she was right that he preferred to go slowly, still with his legs tucked up like that made it look like he wanted to go faster. He hadn't done that before and it was possible that he just wasn't used to going fast.

Thinking this through Alice decided to go a bit faster, not as fast as she had before but just a bit, if she kept going just a bit faster maybe Lexi would get used to going fast and enjoy it too. Then they could both be going fast and having fun.

This decided she pushed off careful to still be slow but not as slow.

Alice was pleased it looked like Lexi really didn't mind speed once he got used to it. She still kept a careful eye on him to make sure that while they sped up it was within field of speed which he felt comfortable in. She also made sure that Lexi didn't get tired from the increased effort, speed was fun but it could also be tiring.

All the same despite keeping a close eye on Lexi and making sure that he too was having fun Alice was having lots of fun with this new game of increasing speeds.

Alice noticed the slowing speed and also Alexis' glance at the man he had come with. Did the man perhaps not approve of Alex going fast? or maybe it was something else. Either way it seemed that Alex was unhappy so Alice slowed down too. Once they stopped she would go and see what her mum thought, after all if it had to do with adults her mum would know better.

Kiri watching the kids noticed the slowing speed and expression on Alex's face. Since Alice had walked into her life she spent a lot of time watching children's faces since Alice didn't talk much. She wasn't sure if she should raise it, she had already upset Rowan once but he was the dad afterall. "Alexis seems upset about something, perhaps he doesn't like see-saws?" she commented.

Alice hopped off and bowed back, although she didn't know what the bowing thing was about. Alex seemed anxious about something, so she assumed it was his snack time and he wanted to get home. It had been fun playing with him but she could understand the importance of food. This thought happily lodged in her mind she followed Alex back over to mum and Alex's people.

Kiri smiled at Rowan and commented "No that's fine, I'm just glad that they seem to have enjoyed themselves."
When the kids came over Kiri took Alice's hand and commented to her, "Alexis has to go home now so why don't we give him a nice wave then I'll get you something to eat." It was probably time to get Alice something to eat anyway and then maybe home for a nap.
