"it isn't simplicity or extravagance that makes one appealing. The color of the coat is everything." She smiled a bit lopsided her eyes taking on a slightly crazy glint. "Colors from the flame or sky are extremely lovely. Then of course the snow or frost are above those...and above all else." At this she laughed like she had gone completely mad, her head tossed back eyes closed her entire body shaking with the sound. "Blood." Her eyes opened and she gazed into the sky, the smile still painted on her face. "It has the most beautiful color of everything. If anyone had a coat in that color...I'd do anything to keep them."

"Fresh, bright red blood, I hope? Instead of the icky dry blood?" He snorts, and shakes his head in amusement. "That just a bit disturbing, pretty lady! You'd probably scare a good few by telling them that!" He was amused, he had agreed on everything she had said, until she said that. "Though, I do agree on the rest...but, blood just doesn't do it for me..."

Hearing his words Thorn shot him a look and if looks could kill Zakaili would be no more. He may not have realized it but insulting blood was only one step below insulting her in her mind. "Have you ever seen blood?" She asked her eyes shutting again her lips twisting into a more dreamy smile. She sighed and let out a little laugh completely unlike her earlier laughter. This time it was soft, thoughtful even and a very strange sound to be coming from her.

"I have...and it was beautiful...before then...I was as blind as everyone else. I suppose I should thank my mother for giving me such a gift...such a sight. If I ever bother to see her again perhaps I will." She sighed and lowered her head, opening her eyes, to face the stallion once again. "I think...if you ever see it, the life of another laying in the snow before you, then you will agree with me. I'm sure you'd agree on most things in fact. That or you'd lose your mind and a mind is a terrible thing to lose. It makes people fools."

"Well pretty lady, you probably think me a fool!" He shrugs. "Who knows, maybe I would enjoy that sight, but I wouldn't know at the moment, for I have never seen anyone laying in the snow bleeding. If you do see that again, come and find me, and we'll see if I go crazy, or enjoy it, like you do!"

He thought her obssession with blood was a bit odd, but like they say, don't knock it until you try it! He was eager for that day to come, wondering what his reaction would be.

It was just as she had thought. He hadn't seen freshly spilled blood before. It didn't surprise her, it seemed to be a sight few saw and the few in her old family that had seen it had been sick for weeks afterward. "I see you as blind, actually." She answered simply. It was obvious to her he was blind to beauty, at least most beauty. He still called her pretty, which was easily seen, but still admirable. She tilted her head to the side slightly and gave him the once over once again. "Perhaps a bit of a fool as well. I won't rule that out. You did manage a rather graceless stumble not long ago."

"Then blind I may be, to you." She was different, that much was for sure, a bit odd, too. He laughed as he was called a fool. She may call him what she wanted, but he knew it wasn't true...for the most part. He did have his moments, he would admit to that. "I'd rather it be a graceless stumble every so often, than to be tripping over everything, so I suppose I'm not too much of a fool." When the two had first started talking, she had hurt him slightly with her words. But now? Zaka only found them to be amusing, and didn't mind too much what she said. Besides, sometimes, it held a bit of truth.

"It's better to not stumble at all." She said tossing her head slightly growing a bit tired with this conversation. It had been enjoyable at first when his reactions had been less predictable. Her curiosity about his wings had been satisfied and appearance made him less the desirable company.

"Myself, I never stumble, never trip and never slip." She turned her back on him and began making her way back the way she came. "I'm through with you now. It was a good way to pass the time but I can think of better ways."

"One day, pretty lady, you will stumble and fall. And those around you will look at you, and laugh, knowing that you had no problem talking of others." He spoke softly, not sure if she'd be able to hear him or not, but he truely didn't really care anylonger.

"I have put up with hearing you talk of how I look, that I'm a fool, and a clutz. You've said that I am blind. But, it is you, pretty lady that is blind. The world does not revolve around you, nor does it really care about you. You are just another on this planet, and when you die, others will cry, but the world will not mourn you. You're not as high and mighty as you think you are. I have let you walk all over me, pretty lady, and I have ignored it, laughed at it, too. One day, though, you will meet your match. Until then, pretty lady." Having finished his bit, he, too, turned and started heading back towards the forest. He was ready to go back to his teepee.

Cream ears flicked hearing his voice. She had said she was done so why was he still talking. She was a bit curious about what he had to say but she had no intention of stopping or going back. Instead she softened her step and slowed her pace keeping her mind and ears focused on Zakaili's voice.

Her trip? The very thought was ridiculous. She never took a misplaced step, the talent came from being raised in the mountains where a wrong step could mean death. The thought of others laughing at her was even more ridiculous. She let out a snort thinking he was done and picked her pace up again only to hear his voice once again. He still wasn't done?

As his little speech went on all Thorn could think was that she had misjudged the stallion. He was, in fact, a full-blown fool. She was every bit as high as she thought she was and while the world would not miss her the sky, snow, and fires of it would. It did not matter what he thought. On the day she died she was all but positive that the skies would cry frozen tears for their loss. Snorting once again she picked up her pace to return to her current residence at the lake. She would never understand why most seemed to think she was wrong or not as good as they were. It just made...no sense.
