The Doctor shook his head when she just ignored him. Every encounter for him was a fresh one, he couldn't but feel bad for a creature who walked through life with such distance. And yet there was some part of him that mirrored her attitude. The distance that he, himself kept everyone at bay even with his lighthearted enthusiasm towards life. Shaking his head again he turned and started to wander away from the frozen river. She reminded him of his loneliness and that was not something he wished for.
