I used to use Ernie Ball, but last night one broke on me after FIVE MINUTES OF PLAYING ON BRAND NEW STRINGS confused , so now I'm going back to the uper bullets that came on my new Strat.

I'm guessing you where useing the 9 guages. Those are the only gauge that does that to me. the 10s and 11s hold up pretty well though. It could have jsut been a bad pack.

Yeah I think they were the 9 guages.
But I'm just gonna keep using the Fender Super Bullets, I kinda liked em.

I tried out some Ernie Ball custom gauge. its a mix of 9/ 10 gauge strings. its amazing.

I use Ernie Ball Regulars and Roto-Sound Yellow all Gauge .10s

I use 9's mostly.

But I have another guitar set to drop C which uses 10s.

GHS 10-56's Those are some sweet strings. those are guages you can really grab on to.

i have been using 9 gage dean markley: blue steal string for about 7 months. i luv them smile

I use D'Addario lights on my 6 and 7 strings, pretty sweet for bends and vibrato. I very rarely break a string these days, due to flexibility and experience I'd say.

I'm down to using two sets: Ernie Ball RPS 10 slinky's on my JP and RPS 11's on my epiphone. I'm dying to try out the new coated acoustic strings they've got.... haven't seen them in this town yet, or online (musicians friend has them but I'm not paying the shipping to canada)
