Strange... my co-workers also had that reaction when I told them I was (a) married and (b) had a kid. Apparently sci-fi geeks aren't supposed to reproduce or something.

About me not being around much, I tried going on Gaia during work hours, but that didn't pan out (too much work lately). Now I'm logging on after my son goes to sleep. The only problem is that I want to sleep, too... whee

Sure, SF fen reproduce--I have friends up in VA who have produced three beautiful kids, two of whom are still around and becoming little fans of Doctor Who & Lord of the Rings.
This is just the first time we'd heard a peep about your offspring, Hairy! smile

Sure, SF fen reproduce--I have friends up in VA who have produced three beautiful kids, two of whom are still around and becoming little fans of Doctor Who & Lord of the Rings.
This is just the first time we'd heard a peep about your offspring, Hairy! smile

I thought I mentioned it before, but I guess it must have been in the mod-only subforum.

My 3-year-old kid likes Doctor Who. The new series, anyway. I haven't shown him any of the older ones yet. Guess it's a good idea to start the brainwashing early.

Getting back on topic... I don't think anyone will ever manage to beat Ceribri's post count. She's like an omnipresent force here, or something.

On another note, 'brainwashing' .. xd
I got my friend so fanatic about New Who that she's seen every episode except the last two of Season 3 and the Christmas special.... in less than three months time. She got through Season 1 in a little over a week.
